Goodwill Industries of North Georgia

While the staff here is much friendlier to me whenever I bring my adorable toddler, they have a great selection of toys and random household items. I’ve never paid too much attention to women’s clothing because it’s a huge hassle with a kid in tow. However, the children’s clothing is a steal of you can find the right size and current trends. They also have a variety of DVD’s that are great, and the store is fairly clean compared to others I have been to.
I gave 4 stars instead of five because some of the people that work there are horrendous. I went to buy some toys for my son as a reward for good behaviour and had two or three that he was choosing from on the floor. Someone came by and started putting them away (which is great for the cleanliness). I told them that we were still deciding which to take and I would put the others back, they told me we were making too much of a mess. I told him that we were paying customers deciding on merchandise and he could leave us alone. Other times, the cashiers are short and rude, but honestly, you get what you pay for. Its not something that’s not expected, which is sad, but a reality.

From the many Goodwill stores that I’ve been to, this one is one of the best. They have a good selection of items (they’re always putting new items on the floor while I’m shopping there) and they keep it pretty well organized and maintained. Plus, the manager who used to work there was super nice and used to give my fiancé and I discounts because he saw us in there so many times. I’ve gotten most of my furniture and even a 50″ LCD TV from this Goodwill and everything is still in good working condition. They keep this store really cold though, so bring a jacket if you’re sensitive to colder temperatures!

I’m one of those that come to Goodwill thinking I’ll find a bargain. It rarely happens, but part of the fun is viewing it like a treasure hunt.
Unfortunately, this location is musty and needs to be cleaned up more often. Although it is large and has a large selection of products, I do not come here often. I have bought books and kitchenware from here; clothes-​wise, I haven’t found anything I like, but they have many products. Service is a-​ok, although not overly friendly.

Great selection of books, especially children’s. Several rows of housewares and many many racks of clothing. Easy to find. Be sure to grab a shopping cart!
