Ellery House the Bed & Breakfast

My girlfriend and I spent an evening at the Ellery house last night on our way up to Lutsen. Jim was a great host as he showed us the house, let us know about breakfast options and times and showed us to our room.
The room was comfortable and cozy with a fantastic bed, sheets and covers. The room was cool with a window-​unit air-​conditioning unit. We had a nice little porch too where we enjoyed morning coffee.
The breakfast was incredible. The baked French toast was delectable. It also came with fresh fruit, coffee and orange juice, among a few other options.
Overall, a very nice experience and a place that we’ll come back to when staying in Duluth. The value for the night stay plus breakfast and such far outweighs any hotel downtown.
