A Taste Of Africa

This place is awesome! Love their Shea butter — has made my stretch marks disappear. The guy that works there is very knowledgable and another time a young lady that worked there was there too. Both are very nice as well and explained their perfume oils to me — has the actual perfume in it (name brands! And they have a lot, as well as cologne) plus the oil makes it last longer. I also got some incense. Only $ 2 for 20 and they have a wide variety. Saw they have cute incense burners as well.

If only this place wasn’t located in the Dulles Town Center Mall. UGH!
While I have only been in this store once, I have sent multiple people in here for the purchase of body oils, incense, sage, shea butter, and other imported items from Africa. They have this one brand of Shea butter that is infused with coconut and mango. It smells so lovely, I sometimes find myself about to lick my skin.
The prices are reasonable as compared to other stores that sell it but since I lived in Africa for a stint, I realize how much they are really getting over on us. But I understand the hustle.
The male that works there was very helpful and let me sample various oils and educated on the many uses of the products I was eyeing. According to him, there are multiple uses for each item. And even though he could have been selling me a dream, that is music to my ears.
If you are in the area, please support them. I would hate for this store to go under as most people aren’t even aware they are located in the mall.

I first visited this store yesterday. What struck me was the beauty of the arrangements of canvases and statues. I explained to the lady that worked in the store that I have ezema and my daughter is now struggling with teen acne. She directed me to the natural black soap and shea butter. My daughter used it last night and this morning her skin looks fresh and even!!! I’m going back to the store today and buying five more black soap and shea butter. It’s truly natural from the earth.

I felt very welcomed as soon as I stepped inside! I liked their selection of lotions and oils, quite the variety of fragrances. They have a very special collection of artisan sculptures mostly imported from Africa. The sales lady was very attentive and knowledgeable about the products. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in Dulles Town Center!

The lady working here is wonderful. She knew a great deal about all the aromatic /​skin care products I asked her about. Reasonable prices for incenses, lotions and soaps etc.
