To date, we have not actually been inside here as we have only ordered take out on the phone. Located at the corner of Main and Elm Streets, don’t let the lack of street parking deter you, there is a large public lot behind the building on Elm St though I’m not sure if there is a rear entrance. Ordering by phone has been easy, employees have been friendly. Deliveries have always arrived within the time frames given, the food has still been hot and the drivers have been friendly. Somehow, the entire family has been happy with the food her, not always an easy task. W have had pasta dishes and pizzas from here so far and everyone has been happy with their choices. Being that we have a dine in only coupon from our Entertainment Book, we will have to visit and check them out up close and personal.

By far the worst food in town. I believe everyone can mess up once so I tried again. Nope. It was nasty the second time. Well, as my luck would have it I was in a rush, just leaving the library, no time to go anywhere else so I figured no way was it going to be gross again, but ITWAS. Thats it. Never again. How can you make a steak and cheese grinder dry? The meat was over processed(think of steak ums ground up in a blender) and the cheese was invisible in taste and appearance. Next time I will eat at Rite Aid before Zoes.

Don’t get me wrong, Dudley is a very unfortunate town. However, Zoe’s is a diamond in the rough! Two of my friends and I rolled in after being denied entrance to a show at Nichols«College.» Needless to say, the morale was pretty low. Boy, did that ever change the second we walked into Zoe’s! The girl behind the counter(Zoe?) was SOOO nice and sweet! I mean, she said the pizza we ordered sounded kind of questionable but I appreciated her honesty. She put up with our indecisiveness and laughed at our dumb jokes. What a champ! The food came out quickly and it was delicious! Best of all, they serve TOASTEDRAVIOLI. I don’t know if you’ve ever been to St. Louis, dear reader, but t. rav is an STL classic. I’ve never really found it elsewhere so I was pretty thrilled. If you ever(unluckily) find yourself in the Dudley area I highly recommend this wonderful family establishment.

After driving an hour-and-a-half to Dudley for a concert at Nichols College, my friends and I were severely disappointed to arrive on campus and be denied access to the special concert being held there that night. We’d made several calls earlier to the Student Activities office seeking information about the show, but had been given vague responses about whether the general public would be admitted. When we arrived to find out we in fact were not able to attend the show, we were quite annoyed by all the effort to come to this middle-of-nowhere town. Then we found Zoe’s. We’d seen several pizza places on our trip up, but this one right outside the campus called our name. We were a little skeptical when we pulled up and saw no one inside, but as soon as we stepped in, we were greeted by a friendly young woman behind the counter who laughed as we told her what brought us to Dudley, and thoroughly enjoyed helping us pick out our order. We had our eyes on a large pizza with several toppings, but then we scanned the appetizers and noticed that they had fried ravioli. As someone who spent my college years in the Midwest, finding this St. Louis-based treat in nowhere Massachusetts was very exciting. We ordered both then settled into a cozy booth as we waited for our order. The friendly waitress jaunted over with our food and returned several times to make sure we were ok. While the evening was rather disappointing overall, Zoe’s was the bright spot of our trip. And quite honestly, I’d venture to say it’s one of the few bright spots in Dudley.
