Brand spanking new and pristine! I wandered in here on a road trip and hit the salad bar. Not nearly as expansive as a Whole Foods hot bar but impressive nonetheless. I assembled a quick salad and perused the impressive array of bulk bin offerings before hearing an announcement over the speaker that I simply could not believe: We have two cases of Bourbon County Barrel Aged Stout available today, a two-bottle limit per person. Stop by the liquor section now! Wut? I had just roused myself at 5 a.m. that very morning to wait in line at Binny’s for the privilege of buying these very bottles. They didn’t have bombers, but I did get two bottles of Barley Wine varients for $ 6.29 a bottle. That’s a competitive price and no line needed. The liquor section manager also couldn’t be nicer and more helpful. Win-win all around.

I’ve been to this grocery store a couple of times because it is seriously close to my house. It seems to have a better selection of foods than the grocery part of Walmart. The produce is fresher and more varied. It’s also a little more expensive. However, the service is great. Everyone is so friendly and they actually open new lanes when the notice a long checkout line. They staff is also really willing to help you look for things you can’t find. Overall, I really like this grocery store… I think maybe it’s comparable to a harris teeter but with better customer service. I’d give them 5 stars if they doubled or tripled coupons…
