I was told about this restaurant by a co worker, so I thought it would be a good idea for a date night. My girlfriend and I went with high expectations because of the info my friend gave us. The inside was as nice as described, but that was the best part of the meal. Our appetizers arrived promptly, but were sub par for the price(fried zucchini & bruschetta). Salads were ok. Our meals,(mine-duck, hers-salmon) were unimpressive. They did however have a nice wine list. Our meal was lengthy and very unattended. *A family with 2 children seated in the next table came in after us, ate, had dessert and departed!* Luckily we have no problem making conversation. After we were done with our meal we waited 30 minutes for the waitress to ask us if we wanted a box. I immediately also asked for the check! We enjoyed the atmosphere(minus the cheesy music) but have decided not to go again after dropping $ 80 on a meal that could’ve been cooked better in our kitchens. Maybe it was that evening or the staff. We were hoping for a better dining experience.

Happened to be passing through the area so I stopped by here for lunch based on the positive Unilocal reviews. Convenient location off i80 with surprisingly fantastic food! Beer and cheese soup was killer, not too heavy. The black and blue steak salad was a hit, especially considering it was only around $ 11! Great beer selection and a friendly staff. I will definitely come back if I happen to be in the area.

This is an upscale gastropub atmosphere in the middle of nowhere. Wait staff were excellent, friendly and attentive, the music pleasant and the atmosphere relaxed. We had the Brussels sprouts with bacon appetizer which was good but nothing special. The bruschetta was a white hoagie bun toasted and topped with tomatoes, basil & cheese, which were tasty but cold & the bun didn’t have any crunch or crustiness to it. The grilled Caesar salad with ahi tuna was very nice. The duck with maple bacon glaze was cooked well but would have been improved by fast HOT searing. Our 3 chocolate chip cookies for dessert were scrumptious. Overall we would recommend as a better choice than most of what you can find in the area.

Great atmosphere, great service, great food. Came here because we were staying in the hotel next door but wasn’t expecting much. What a great surprise! We had a wonderful meal. Highly recommended!

If you are driving through PA, specifically I-80, you must stop in DuBois and have a meal here. Was pleasantly surprised with menu and location. Had the Fish Tacos and Philly. Both excellent. Good beer list and selection. Was not expecting this at all.

This was such a great find right off I-80! Definitely trendy inside, large beer selection, but what really did it for me were the angry style blue mussels… That sauce was UNBELIEVABLE!!! After scooping as much of it up as I could with their delicious Station 101 potato chips, I literally slurped the plate they came on. Unreal.

A great atmosphere, the right mix of garage grunge and class. Our food was top notch with so many choices. We will come here again if ever in the area.

Hands down one of the best meals we have had in a while! We were driving back from Allentown and heading to Illinois and we stumbled upon this gem. We had lobster Mac and cheese and shrimp stuffed mushrooms, grilled Caesar with salmon, side of broccoli and the most obscene ice cream dessert. Julianne(name?) was our server and she was fantastic.

If this was anywhere else it would be four stars, but coming off an exit in the middle of PA this was great. We were able to walk over from the hotel next door and were impressed. I had the Fried Green Tomato BLT with sweet potato fries along with a few beers form the State College area. If this wasn’t five hours from our house I’d go more often!

I am pretty sure this place fakes/pays for Unilocal reviews to lure in unsuspecting road trippers. This is basically McDonald’s with different décor. Don’t be fooled by all the good reviews!!!(Like we were…)

Found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try on the way home to NY from Ohio. The food was great, staff amazing seating our group of 8(4 adults and 4 kids) right away. We ordered a mezze platter, onion soup and special soup to start and all were great. Had the best turkey burger in a long time, moist and well seasoned. Everyone enjoyed there dishes: lasagna, Philly cheesesteak, burger, baked potatoes, bean burger. The desserts looked amazing, although we were too stuffed to have any. This was such a great find, thank you Unilocal and Unilocalers. Give this place a try.

Always have great service. Servers are always helpful and quick. Good drink selection. I also like how they have a seperated lunch menu from the dinner. I had the fried green tomatoes BLT and it was delicious! Everytime I’ve tried something in their menu it was tasty. Their prices are also decent for the quality. the restaurant it also always very clean and the décor is tasteful.

Fabulous food, very friendly servers and ambience is excellent. They have a huge draft beer selection! My husband loves craft beer and they have a large selection!!! It is a real gem right off I80. We have been there twice and the place was packed both times. We had the crab stuffed haddock and crab stuffed shrimp and both were wonderful! Waitresses were so friendly, helpful and attentive. Can not say enough good things about this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed!!! Jill from PA

Interesting establishment! I like that the owners are trying to make something cool and trendy right off the highway. It was appreciated, because sometimes you want a healthy meal when you’re making a pit stop during a road trip… Impressive beer selection and pretty good menu. We had the crab dip and wished we had had the buffalo chicken instead. It was fresh but a little bland. I ordered the salad w the seared tuna — it was decent, but the quality of the greens left much to be desired. My bf had the pulled pork sandwich which he enjoyed.

We weren’t expecting much since we were Unilocaling places to eat while driving back from Pittsburgh. Passing through several towns, everything looked meh until I came across Station 101 and I’m glad I did! The name is clever because the highway? exit? something had 101 in it so I thought it was a cute name. Inside the restaurant was quite big, there were quite a few tables eating. We ordered the mussels(angry style) and the fried green tomatoes. The mussels were tasty, had bits of bacon in it and the sauce was yummy(dip bread in it!) I don’t even like tomatoes but the fried green tomatoes were pretty tasty as well, but I guess anything fried tastes good, hm? My dad got the fish tacos which he said were good and my mom a seared ahi tuna salad. The ahi tuna was definitely overcooked though, it looked like cooked tuna instead of being raw in the middle and seared on the outside. That was the only problem of our meal. The waitress was super nice and super helpful and we had a great experience at our pitstop! Oh, the bathroom is also super clean which is definitely a plus.

I was in town for business and stayed next door at the Fairfield Inn. I never have high expectations for restaurants located next to a hotel, especially when it’s the only restaurant next door. Why? Because there’s no competition and travelers will tolerate mediocre food for the sake of convenience. However… Station 101 did not disappoint! I had a burger on my first night and was blown away by the quality and freshness. So, I came back for round 2 the next night. There was no reason to try another restaurant. Try the lobster mac, and if you’re up for it, go for the sundae for dessert. Staff was pretty friendly too. Bottom line for business travelers… If you’re staying at the Fairfield, it’s worth have at least one meal here. Even more so, f you are headed to Dubois, it’s worth staying at the Fairfield just so it’s more convenient to eat here. Besides, they offer a discount for Fairfield guests.

Apprehensive at first when I pulled into the parking lot. 7:30PM, 2 other cars. Decided to go in anyway. Place was practically empty. Pulled up a chair to the bar and was greeted with a smile from a lovely bartender. Took my drink order and asked for a menu. Beer was delicious, extensive selection from Budweiser to dog fish head and everything in between. Food was okay, didn’t match the beer though. That’s okay, because I love beer. By the time my food arrived the place was packed. I’ll definitely return for beer and grub.
