Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dubois

Very clean hotel, staff was friendly, check in and reservation was a breeze. The rooms were incredibly spacious and the breakfast was nice. My only complaints would be that it’s a bit pricier then any of the other holiday inns we stopped at on our cross country trip and that their were ants in the pool area.

My car broke down on my way through on I-​80 and this was the closet hotel. We checked in very late and the desk clerk gave me the lowest rate he could which was reasonable.
It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good and this location definitely lived up to the brand.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Dubois for one night while visiting a friend in St Mary’s, PA. The hotel is very nice with an amazing view, the bathroom was decent, and the hotel is located in the middle of St Mary’s town. It’s a small town not much to do around and everything is about 45 min drive. This was a very convenient overnight stay! I would definitely recommend this hotel and probably stay here if I visit my friend again.

We decided to stay here because frankly, it’s one of the newer hotels in the area. And I like newer because it generally equates cleaner. We were surprised and appreciative that they offered a bereavement discounted rate.
Our desk clerk was very nice and very helpful. Also, BJ had misplaced his Priority One member number and some earlier phone calls had netted zippo. So, we were surprised when our clerk said «don’t worry, I can find it’. And she did. Very helpful. Also, who doesn’t like a hotel that hands you over bottled water and let’s you pick treats from their goodies basket. There are also baskets of apples everywhere. Very nice.
Our room was ready for our early check in. The rooms are a decent size and ours was fresh and clean. Not in the love with the green plaid curtains, but hey, the bed was comfortable and pillow are nice and soft.
The breakfast buffet was decent. And free. Free is good.
This was my first experience with a Holiday Inn Express. Based on this visit, I would definitely try them, again.

Were driving back from NY, ended up randomly staying here. Price was moderate. Room was clean and recently renovated. Pool and hot tub were great stress relievers. Breakfast was better than your average continental breakfast. There were both soft and firm pillows on the bed. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Cookies/​apples/​water were available free of charge. Nicest hotel I’ve stayed in for a while.

Stayed here in December 2010 on the way through PA to Columbus OH for a business trip.
Had a great experience here, no problems whatsoever. They gave us free goodies on check-​in (water, cookies, snacks) because I signed up for their frequent-​stayer club. Everyone was nice, and they brought up a cot for my son at no charge.
Everything was very clean. We were paranoid about the current bedbug explosion that appears to be going on in the northeast, but saw absolutely no evidence of any bugs.
Would stay here again, with no hesitation.
I would consider this a 2.5 star (approaching 3 star) location.
