Ty Ginger Asian Bistro

This is the best kept secret Asian fusion restaurant in town!
I love their ambience, it’s very bright with day light.
Food is excellent and reasonably priced!
If you like Thai or Asian fusion restaurant, this is the place to go!

We arrived this Saturday night around 6 PM and was seated immediately with attention as as good as it gets. A couple of minutes after sitting down our server was there asking us what we would like to start our evening off with.
She ordered the Seafood Rangoon and I the Ahi Seared Tuna with our excellent drinks. As always they were perfect. I had not tried the Rangoon before — OMG how creamy and rich this seafood combination wrapped up in these hot pastries with a drizzle of sweetness drizzled on top, truly loved it. It was great along with my Ahi Tuna as the best accompaniment with my drinks.
For entrees I had the Ty Spicy Trio which was delicious and hot just the right amount my partner had the combination Basil Sauce Classic Dish — now her favorite. What a tasteful and filling dinner. We both had enough for a lunch portion for the next day.
For desert we both had the New York style cheese cake and I was bad and also had the exquisite vanilla ice cream. Our server was so nice, she was right there asking us if we needed anything throughout our evening meal, I felt like I was her only customer even though she had several tables to serve and the place got packed, I really felt special. The evening was pure bliss! Thank you Ty for such a wonderful evening, we will be back soon.

Delicious! There are few places in town I find enjoyable. This is most certainly one of them. The service is superb, as is the quality of the ingredients. I recommend!

I have been visiting TY Ginger for more than a year now. I never write reviews in Unilocal but I thought that as the Unilocal platform has given us so much that I should write back so that it can help other people.
I mostly have their General Tso’s chicken as that is the best that I have had. Their Thai red curry and green curry is also very good. Finally you should try the Bubble tea.

Great food. Upscale décor. I would recommend seafood Rangoon, Combination fried rice. Reasonably priced. Portions are more than sufficient. Nice courteous staff. Highly recommended if you are in Dublin.

Exquisitely crafted food, a step up from typical Pan-​Asian fare. Spacious, Asian-​minimalist décor; very comfortable and contemporary. Highly recommended!

First time to eat at this restaurant. The food was very good. We had the pepper shrimp and scallops. They came perfectly seasoned. We also had several appetizers. The sweet chili calamari was very good. The spring rolls were crispy and hot. Tom tom soup was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I absolutely love this place. I meet a friend there at least once a month for lunch, and I’m never disappointed. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the food is fantastic. Best curry in central Ohio, and the Ty Chow Fun has changed my life. Go!

First time visit. Stop by on the whim for lunch. I ordered yellow curry chicken and it was delicious. Nicely decorated. Would definitely recommend and great prices.

Ty Ginger is this upscale Asian fusion bistro. The food here is pretty delicious. My favorite was the crab Rangoon it was so so delicious. I also got the shrimp pad thai and it comes with huge jumbo shrimps. It was great. I think my friend got a green curry and it was pretty good too. We also tried the Taro Boba and it’s was pretty good. All in all the service was great and so was the food.

Ty Ginger is a nice little Asian Bistro. Last night I had the pleasure of trying Buddha’s Delight — an excellent tofu vegetarian dish. The tofu was nicely done and the vegetables were crispy. Service was excellent.

This has become a Go-​to place for us. We love Asian food and Thai flavors in particular. This is not a detailed review. Its just to give them 5 stars and say that every time we go, we’re glad we did. It kind of sneaks up on you and you realize «I really like this place!» Very nice design, professional servers, and great food with great treatment of seafood — scallops, shrimp, mussels, cooked perfectly. Go here!

Very unimpressed! Placed an order for carry out, walked in thinking the restaurant looked very nice. As I began to make my plate at home I notice no vegetables as the menu stated there would be. I ordered fried rice, it had to be from the freezer section at aldi.
There are far better options to say the least.

Omg! I was traveling from Cali to visit my high school frd over here, wasn’t expect there’s an amazing restaurant with fusion style, seriously, the Siam duck soooo flavorable and I can tell the chef really put effort on the dishes. Will go back another time when I visit here. Hope there should be more fusion food like this and Pls remember the Siam duck with cocktail n appetizers are def a MUST

Stopped for lunch today. I’m almost never in this area of town, so I went with the nearest choice. The food was better than average, service was prompt, and prices were fair. It’s maybe an odd complaint, but the ice tea was the only thing that I didn’t like. .it just tasted like ice water. The lunch specials were the typical Americanized Chinese favorites with a few unique items mixed in. Some kind of chicken wrap seemed to be popular, nearly every table I saw had one. I had the beef mei fun and general tso’s. The beef was the better of the two, but both were tasty in their own way.
The restaurant itself was extremely clean and upscale. The decorations on the wall were a nice touch. Would definitely go back when I’m in the area.

Ty Ginger is the best chinese food in Dublin — more upscale than your run of the mill chinese resturants.
The food is made from fresh ingredients & is served piping hot.
I always get the seafood rangoon and shrimp lomein.

Slow service, food was OK. Portions were great for the price. Try the taro bubble tea if you like sweet treats! I wouldn’t be back on purpose but could come in a pinch.

Ty Ginger Asian Bistro was okay. I’ve definitely had better food, but I would stop there in a pinch again. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I was there for lunch and there were very few people in the restaurant.
Food-​wise… veggie spring roll and pad thai with tofu (spicy; 3 out of 4), total cost was about $ 11 for lunch. The pad thai was still fairly mild in spice, which was a little disappointing. It’s a dish that is supposed to have some spice at a base level, so it didn’t seem like they added any to warrant a 3 out of 4 spice level.
When I went, the parking lot was getting torn up and repaved, which seemed to be a good thing. There were some major pot holes throughout, so don’t be a speed demon through the parking lot!
Overall, decent, not the best. I would like to try one of their bubble smoothies next time. I was going to get one to-​go, but they brought the check without asking if I wanted anything else. So, I figured I would be done.

My friend and I met here for lunch today. It was my first time here, but not hers.
Food:
— Their menu is varied but not too extensive (which makes deciding easier)
— Most of the menu is Americanized Asian food (i.e. General Tso’s, Teriyaki Chicken, Fried Rice, Seafood Rangoons, etc.)
— Thai Green Curry with Chicken was pretty good, but I’ve had better. However, the spiciness was on point and I enjoyed the green beans and eggplant.
— My friend ordered the Combination Fried Rice, and described it as a bit bland.
— We both ordered their Peach Bubble Tea (which we were excited to find out they served), and liked them! Their tapioca bubbles were cooked properly, although it could have used a bit more sugar. The actual tea was also nice because it actually tasted of tea instead of syrup-​water, like other places that may serve bubble tea.
Service:
— Not too shabby considering it was a lunch rush
— Server was attentive and came by a few times to check up on us
— Staff was all friendly, polite, and knowledgeable about the menu
Atmosphere:
— Location is pretty easy to find, although I’ve heard some people have trouble with finding the entrance
— Inside is clean, open, and light
— Décor is fancy and looks nice, but not overwhelming

Very very nice restaurant, looks real super fancy but yet it’s not real super expensive, in fact it’s quite economical, at least for the lunch menu, which is what I was ordering off of. Love the fireplace! I’ve only eaten here once but the Pad Thai was awesome and plan to go back here quite often and try some other foods. The tuna wrap especially looks great. The service here is very fast, we were seated immediately upon entering and as I said, i was really impressed with just how nice (and clean, super clean!) the restaurant looked.
I’ve given them 4 stars for my first trip but when I go again I just may bump it to 5 stars if all goes well. I hope to check them out again soon. Will be hard to resist getting the Pad Thai again though!
EDIT: just got back from there today — did a carry out order of Chicken & Shrimp w Fried Rice and an egg roll. The woman at the door was delightful and very friendly, explained how the restaurant has come to be and what they hope to do in regards to giving the customers a great dining experience. Very friendly and nice! Also, they did my chicken unbreaded as I am trying to get away from breading and it was not a big issue, they did so without reservation. The food was ready in about 10 minutes and once back at my office I ate every bite, it was incredibly delicious! Definitely 5 stars and no doubt the best Asian restaurant in the area.
