Great burgers and amazing chili. I tried bison for the first time here and it was good. The service is sometimes slow for drink refills and taking orders. This is not on our family’s regular rotation and we’ve been about 4 times in 5 years.

They give you a bowl of half sours(half pickle/half cucumber, not quite turned into pickle yet) which I really like! The bison meatloaf and mashed potatos with gravy is very good. They have excellent crab cakes, app and entrée size worth a try.

So good! We went there never having heard anything about it with zero expectations and we loved it! The burgers are huge, we each took half of ours home. We enjoyed the house chips and dips while we waited for our main courses and enjoyed them. If there was a place for improvement I would just say the wait for our main courses was longer than expected but nothing outrageous. We have returned since and will continue to keep this as an option.

Normally they out do themselves but today was just garbage. For a $ 14.99 bison burger, you would think they would put a little care in their carry out. Nope. I asked for extra pickles, normally served at the table, but they didn’t give me any. The greens and broccoli were all served in one package, making it a mess with soggy buns. Awful. In addition, two 8 ounce bottles of coke, $ 2.99. If you want the following: terrible service when ordering, told that it would be ready in 15 minutes, then wait an additional 15 minutes at the location, for the food. Over priced food that is poorly packaged Over priced soft drinks And no consideration for the customer’s request COMETOTED’s !

I was excited to go to this restaurant and try the Bison burgers. We had a party of 4 and we all tried the different Bison Burgers. It was a big disappointment. The Bison was very gamey. The flavor was off. My wife has had the Bison from Teds downtown Columbus and the flavor is different. I don’t think we are going back to this Teds. I rather buy some Bison at Whole Foods and make my own burgers.

Love this place. The décor is so cozy and the bar area looks great. They have bison burgers and a GF roll. The food was great, the service was great and we only had to wait about 2 minutes for a table on a Friday night. I cannot wait to go back!

Stopped in for a dinner on a busy Saturday night — first time trying this place for me but my wife comes here occasionally for work. The AC was on in the middle of a 40 degree winter evening. One steak knife dirty, 1 glass was dirty. The food was good but not great. Had the wedge salad, bison burger, bison nachos, and kale salad. Service was good.

Service; very good, bonus points for giving me a clean table liner(there is a cool map on it) to take home. Décor; Typical steakhouse, wood booths, nice looking bar, copper or faux copper ceiling tiles. There is also a stuffed bison head mounted on the wall. It made my girlfriend a little uncomfortable, it was«staring at her» as if passing judgment. amuse bouche; salty cucumber slices, not may fav but free so whateves Bison Nachos; Nice crunchy yellow corn chips, bison chili, cheddar cheese(menu said pepper jack but it was definitely cheddar), tomatoes, and jalapeño slices. Not bad, chili was good, chip to topping ratio was chip heavy. Bison ribeye; I chose asparagus and tomato as sides, the asparagus was good but slightly fibrous and the tomato wasn’t the ripest(I know its February but the menu says«vine ripened tomatoes» and I have seen better looking tomatoes at Kroger the last few weeks, come on Ted) The steak was pretty darn tasty, nice mid rare, very juicy with a goodly amount of melty ribeye fat. The steak had no grill marks and appeared to have been pan fried or griddled which I felt was odd but can’t complain about, it was a great steak. You are at 3.5 stars Ted, normally I would round down to 3 but I like your sustainability/environmental practices. Also thanks for Adult Swim and Captain Planet.

My husband and I have only visited Ted’s Montana Grill once, and though it was edible it wasn’t good enough to go back anytime soon. We showed up at about 3:00 pm so it was almost empty inside besides one other table. I ordered the Bison Ted’s Filet, expecting something similar to a filet mignon but with healthier buffalo meat. What I was served looked like a small ground hamburger patty that was way overcooked and dry as a bone. I chose the parmesan roasted broccoli(very good) and the Aunt Fannie’s squash casserole as my sides. The squash came in a lukewarm ramekin, and the casserole was ice cold inside. I asked if I could get a warm one because this side dish sounded delicious to me, and the waitress was friendly and got me another one quickly. However, the exact same thing happened so it was probably from the same batch. Instead of making me a fresh one, the manager immediately came out and apologized and offered us a free dessert to make up for it, which we happily agreed to since I was left hungry after my meal. My husband ordered a cheeseburger for his meal, which sounds boring and tasted boring as well. Nothing special. For our free dessert we chose the Apple Pecan Crisp — let me tell you this was DEFINITELY the best thing we had all night! It was warm and delicious, and the oatmeal mixed with warm caramel and apples tasted perfect. The dessert is the only reason I’m giving Ted’s Montana Grill in Dublin 2 stars, so I probably won’t be rushing back for a long, long time.

Our dinner for two was underwhelming. We both ordered bison burgers cooked medium rare and they were decidedly well done. Our cocktails were mediocre. The service was great, however and we will try this place once more because it is so close to home. Will update if impressed.

Fantastic evening here at Ted’s for my husband JD and I’s 2nd wedding/6th dating anniversary. Our bison steaks(filet for me, ribeye for JD) were cooked to perfection, the garlic mashed potatoes were perfectly creamy, and our other sides(broccoli for me, mushrooms for JD) were superb as well. But with all restaurants, it’s the service that makes the meal even more enjoyable. Amy and Johnny were our servers, as Johnny was training. If Amy hadn’t have been there, I would have never known! Johnny was a great server. About halfway through the meal, manager CJ stopped by to make sure everything was going well. During our conversation, we told him we’d been in for multiple special occasions throughout our relationship, and Ted’s always knocks it out of the park for us. Tonight, CJ knocked it out of the park for us yet again, gifting us with an amazing apple crisp dessert on the house for our anniversary. Thank you so much, CJ, Amy and Johnny! Folks like you are the reason my husband and I come back every time we have something to celebrate!

Wow what a horrible place to celebrate a birthday or have dinner… Got sat, got our food(which was flavorless compared to Their downtown location) and within 7 minutes of getting our entrees our waitress brings out the check and to go containers… If you want to feel pushed out of a restaurant this is the place for you. The manager apologized after I complained to him privately. Asked if we wanted a dessert on the house(ummm no thanks I don’t want a sundae with spit). So our check was never adjusted or altered… Worst service in columbus hands down! The servers excuse«I didn’t want to get overwhelmed and forget about you guys»… Seriously?!! It’s your JOB!

Visited for the first time recently. In my opinion it’s average. The pickles they sit on the table are awesome, I got a burger and it was good. The service, drinks, and nachos were pretty average. I hate to write vague reviews but it wasn’t anything to write home about nor do I have anything to complain about.

I take out the employees here right before Christmas break. If you are gonna order a burger, go to the Pint. Taste the real bison by ordering steak! The steak is awesome here. It’s no Mortons by no mean, but for little town Dublin, it’s good enough. Plus they got great lemonade !!!

I like bison! I like bison burgers! I was just ok with the bison burgers here. The place is nice, the server was alright but there were problems… problems which mean we will probably not be coming back. The person who seated us did not give us the restaurant week menu so we assumed restaurant week was over. Our server didn’t give us one either. It wasn’t until I happened to look over at another table to see what they were having that I noticed that it was still restaurant week and that they had that menu. I mentioned it to our server who commented«Oh! You didn’t get the menu?» Gee! We ordered the nachos as an appetizer and wished we hadn’t as they were just adequate. We both ordered bison burgers — medium — but they were delivered well done(the server when we mentioned it to her finally asked if we wanted them redone but by this time we we just wanted to eat). The burgers while over cooked were tasty. Our fries didn’t arrive hot but just warm. The sangria I had was good although a bit on the extra fruity side and those paper straws were just a bit strange. To top it all off two burgers, one sangria, a coke, and the nachos cost us $ 50.00! Ummmmmmm not going to rush back here.

We have a family tradition to come here every Christmas Eve. Their burgers are fantastic. I’ve had both beef and bison, and the bison is really«gamey» which could be good or bad depending on how you like it. I tried a small piece of steak, and while not a steak person, this is some of the best steak and I’ve had.

This is not really a review, but a criticism concerning this restaurant’s reservation policy. My sister in law invited us to dinner last Friday night, stating she had made a reservation at Ted’s, for 6:15pm. We arrived at 6:10pm, walked in and were promptly told that the wait would be 40 minutes and that they do not really offer reservations. My sister in law then explained that when she called, she let the person know we would have an older person, who uses a walker, with us and their response was, «Ok, we can then make you a true reservation». When we relayed that information to the person manning the front, we were told again how they handle reservation requests and that the wait would still be 40 minutes. In the end, we left to find a different place for dinner, as they would not honor the promise made. We were very disappointed.

I finally made it out to Ted’s Mpntana Grill. From readind the reviews beforehand it was about what I expected. A large room with a lot of tables and booths along the side wall. I almost took a seat at one of the tables but then decided to eat at the bar. I was handed a menu and silerware wraped in a(cloth) napkin by the the barmaid and she and a waitress took good care of me the rest of the evening. I ordered an Avalon Bison Burger avd substituted asparagus for the fries. The burger came with plenty of toppings including sauteed onions which were great. While I was waiting for my burger to cook, i nibbled oy the bowl of pickles. After dinner I looked at the dessert menu and ordered strawberry shortcake. If was very good but not the best I’d ever had. And that pretty well sums up the rest of the food; good but nut the best, thus my four star rating.

I seem to have this hot & cold relationship with this Ted’s, especially when it comes to the service. Sometimes, the service is spot-on, but I have also left a few times where I was very disappointed. In fact, I had been avoiding the place for a while because of some of my prior experiences were unsatisfactory. In fact, I even completed those surveys about«how did we do» and let know it. So, I had been hesitant to make a return trip. The menu stays fairly consistent. There are a few different entrée’s, particularly if you are not in a burger mood. Most the time my food has been served to order. Sometimes the burgers were not prepared correctly, but they have been willing to rectify that. When I am not in a burger mood, I will go for their pot roast — wonderful — or bison meatloaf! They have a limited selection of salads as well. Okay … hint … bison … very low fat content. So, it is usually drier than most beef burgers. That’s why they load them up with different toppings. Choose toppings that bring back some of the moisture content. I like the less fat content. The bison is pretty tasty as well(not a gamey taste). They have lots of different burgers … but they are all burgers — its just in how you dress them up. The selection can seem overwhelming with all the different names, but kind of fun to read through to find different topping combinations you may like. It makes for a more interesting menu than one that simply is a «build your own burger» menu with toppings to choose from. They have always been willing to custom the burger for me when asked. I tried the Peppercorn burger, seasoned & seared with peppercorns, gruyère cheese, herb Dijon mustard & baby arugula. It may be my new burger! Usually love the salt & pepper onion rings, but this last time … a little well done. Reasonably priced. Seating can get a little cramped when you sit at the tables and when they are busy. So, if a booth is available, I always try to get one of those, especially during«peak» times. Their bar selection has evolved over time. They do offer beer, wine and mixed drinks, but not sure that they have a «full bar» selection. I am sure I will be back when I am in the mood for a bison burger.
