It is difficult making informed decisions about doctors unless someone you trust who understands you refers you to someone because there often isn’t enough publicly available information about them. Although I don’t usually review doctors, I want to contribute to rectifying this discrepancy if a doctor stands out.
Although I’ve only taken my children to see him twice, I think Dr. Hong is such an exemplary doctor! He is friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating. He communicates well and has a positive demeanor.
On my most recent visit, even though he was running about 40 minutes behind schedule, he still took the time to listen and respond to all of my questions and concerns. And I ask a lot of questions! Unlike some doctors who seem to try rush you out the door after 15 – 20 minutes, Dr. Hong tries his best to serve, and I am very appreciative.
As the number of patients he sees grows, he may now be able to dedicate as much time, but know that his heart is in the right place. I highly recommend him!

Was referred to this Dr from a friend in Palo Alto. Just having moved from a different state, this doctor went above and beyond. He took more than 1 hour of his time to help us. I would definitely recommend him to any family!

Saw him in Dublin– I have never seen such an attentive doctor. He listened to all of my concerns, engaged me in conversation, offered copies of studies to support his recommendations and took time to answer all of my questions. Absolutely top notch, definitely recommended!
