This is an outstanding Mediterranean/Middle Eastern market. This market stands out because of if it’s fantastic halal meat counter. I’ve never been in the market with less than three to four butchers behind the counter! They also have a variety of middle eastern Breads, sandwiches and produce! Last but not least extremely clean and well organized!

Wraps are good. Not your typical shewarma, but really good flavor and always fresh. They use lavash bread, which I love, cabbage instead of lettuce which means it’s not soggy when you eat the leftovers. And there will be left overs, the wraps are huge. Spicy sauce adds a nice kick when requested. The meat is also top quality. Steak cuts, chicken, deli meats are all really good. Decent selection of fresh cheeses too. My go to place for halal meat in Dublin.

I can’t believe I’ve lived in the area for this long and haven’t tried this place before! I ordered the shawarma wrap and it was so delicious. The portions are large and when I asked for«very spicy» they did not disappoint. Good quality ingredients and the beef was especially good. I also picked up some baklava for my team and that also got rave reviews, too. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying out their whole menu. Very clean, great customer service, and convenient location(right next to 680 on ramps).

Try the Rahma special so big delicious and juicy. These guys have the best 100% halal quality meat such as beef, veal, goat, lamb, chicken, and even the best cooked Rottesire chicken. The wide veriety of deli meat is awsome and the best for the kids lunch. I ordered a catering for my nieces birthday. OMG am i in heaven. Their rice with meat was delicious. The steak and mushroom demi glaze was mouth watering. Their greek salad was very delicious with its dressing. Definetly going to be back.

Excellent sandwiches, always friendly staff. I usually get a chicken wrap, medium spicy. I think their chicken is better than their beef wraps. Their whole rotisserie chickens are solid and always deliver a flavorful, moist chicken so you cant go wrong. The price is great too.

Great customer service great food will come back soon. I will recommend all my friends, family and coworkers. It will be much better if they have bigger place like a restaurant for cooking because their food is amazing

Rahma staff are very rude and unfriendly people. They do not know any thing about customer care and customer service. For instance, I asked for a kind of lamb which was in the shelf, but the staff brought me the other one. I mentioned that I would like to buy this piece but he did not accept and argued that you do not know about kinds of meet! it was offensive and ridicules. Moreover, the manager argued with me and mentioned that we have our rules. I asked where can I find your rules? It seems that your rules are different than the norm of the other stores, so it is better for you to write those rules and put them in a screen, as a result your customer can inform about them. In my point of view Rahma has some rules which are oral! and in its manager mind! so based on each condition they may change!

My favorite for their halal meat and wonderful shawarma wraps, gyros, and roasted chicken(don’t forget to add the garlic dip it is really nice). Friendly welcoming atmosphere. I have learned a bit about the differences in afghan, Pakistan, Indian, and middle eastern cuisines. I look forward to making some goat dishes and other exotic variations.

The owner is from Morracco and will be opening a Morracan restaurant on Village Parkway(around the corner, down the street). The Zulabia/Bamia(like donut holes?) were delicious.

Glad I tried this place. Store looked clean and bright. Good sandwiches, platters and wraps. I wanted lamb but guy behind the counter said they were out. Tried the beef schwarma wrap. Not bad. It was huge. I was able to make 2 meals out of it. Meat was plentiful and tasted of good quality. The flatbread itself was also fresh and yummy when grilled. Appreciated the restraint with the salt but I think meat could have used a little NaCl pick-me-up. Also took home one of their rotisserie chickens for $ 10. Moist, it reminded me of Costco chicken though not as big. Again, delicious, if a bit lacking in salt. The garlic dipping sauce was really creamy and garlicky. It put the chicken over the top. One of the staff was friendly, answered my questions and didn’t charge me for that garlic sauce. The other people behind the counter kept their eyes down and didn’t engage. I don’t think it was rudeness but more of a cultural thing. My brash American upbringing made me want to make eye contact, smile and chat like we were all old friends. Meanwhile, my Asian side totally got that self effacing vibe and would have been shocked by over familiarity from a stranger and a woman to boot. Now if this was a white gloved place with real cloth table covers, I would be upset by the standoffishness. But it is not. No matter, if the rest of the food is as good, I’ll be back.

I couldn’t feel more uncomfortable in any other place … Very rude and unfriendly people who works at this place … I decided to give them one more chance after my last visit when my husband & I walked 5 min after closing and they guy behind the counter screamed at us WEARECLOSED«Sahara never ever do that they love taking ur business… This time they were out of something(molokhya the whole leaf) he just shooed me with his hand meaning they don’t have it … I think they are bunch of sexist people who looks at women as second class … Dude we are in AMERICA. I won’t come back I rather give my money to Sahara Much more classier Owners and better and fresher selection(many stale expired items)

Used to be good, but has turned horrible. My wife bought meat and had it ground up, but when we took it home half of the meat was fat and when we cooked it on our grill it shrunk to half the original size and the grill caught fire from all the fat. Price of fruits and vegetables have gone up too. On the other hand sales people have become rude too.

My review is for the friendly service and delicious Mediterranean platter and baklava. When I entered, the woman at the register greeted me. She made sure I was helped promptly at the counter. I am a sucker for a Mediterranean platter whenever I see one. The falafel was okay, but warmed up with the hummus, tabbouleh and pita, it was truly satisfying. The serving was quite generous. I ate the platter for two meals and had a bit leftover for a small snack. I think it was only $ 8.99, so a good value. The baklava pieces are quite large and sweetly satisfying. I would definitely go back for my Mediterranean platter fix.

I typically come here for 2 things. The lamb, which you can get freshly butchered, and the prepared Gyro meat. It looks odd, little shaved strips of pressed, formed meat. But toss it in a pan and brown it with a little olive oil and you’ve got the makings of a fantastic gyro. I love their flatbread too! It’s not doughy and it’s always fresh. I haven’t bought my produce here besides the occasional bundle of mint leaves and cucumbers. But they have amazing spices in the back. I love the curries and tandoori seasonings. Lastly, their baklava is heavenly.

I like so many of the items here from the deli that I have to raise it up a star. Fantastic hummus and baba ghanouj. We’ve had them partially cater a party with those. And their sweets are divine. We’ve since tried the turkish delight supreme and the plain turkish delight. OMG! Heaven in your mouth.

The high points: + I bought Zamzam water here.(!!!) + Interesting library behind the counter to browse. + Turkish pomegranate juice! + Chocolates! + Halal /Kosher edibles! Concerns: — They need to discard the wilted and rotten vegetables and fruits more regularly. — Space is quite small and friends of owners mill about having conversations in awkward spaces. — Many of the items were covered in dust and far past their expiration date by 4 and 5 months. Other items were clearly stale. They need to reconsider the way they are pricing, moving, placing and advertising certain products. Rahma has potential, and is certainly a consideration, if in the area. But Sahara is far more reliable and interesting a choice, though I appreciate the access to literature and music at Rahma. I’ll be back and hope to find more goodies! xo
