This Panda Express location gets the job done. Food is fresh and cooked properly. The servers are friendly, and getting in just 10 minutes before or after noon time will almost guarantee you a seat to dine in the restaurant(a big plus). I get my usual when I have my lunch here: two items w/Chow Mein, Beijing Beef and Orange Chicken. Yum.

I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure brown rice is NOT white. Congrats Panda Express, you just earned my first one star review.

Went here for lunch today, the line was to the door, which I didn’t mind waiting. There was about 10 people ahead of me, took about 20mins. When I finally was being helped the gentleman putting the food on the plate was called over to the register to get change out, he got the change out of the other register and touched the money and came back to finish serving the line without washing his hands. Very, very gross! Even though they are not touching the actual food with their hands I still feel like they should be washing them after touching other items besides the food. Not sure the guys name but I think it should be addressed to all employee’s.

I came here with my boyfriend for dinner to-go the other day. We came in on a Wednesday around 5:30−6pm and there was no line. A couple entrée options were low but there was more food being made in time for the later dinner rush. The staff were friendly and efficient and we were in and out in under 10 minutes. My favorite options are the beef with broccoli and chicken with green beans. We only come here occasionally but usually have a good experience every time!

Cheap, fast, but good Chinese food. I like to order this, along w/a separate pizza order for quick catering.

I don’t know why this place has bad reviews — it’s basically fast food people not a five-star dining experience(get it? because i gave it 5 stars. bahaha)! anyway, I have been here a whopping one time so I’m totally qualified to write this review! don’t worry I will eventually go back and update if needed. I went here expecting it to be busy since it was dinner-ish time(6−7pm) but nope, only a couple in front of me. the staff were friendly, the food was normal for other panda’s I have been to, and while they were low on one or two items(hey it happens) they were making more so yeah, all good by me. I was in and out of the place in under 10 – 15 minutes.

I come here every now and again and very time is different … Please someone teach them portion sizes … I care I really do; give me a decent amount of rice/noodles and decent amount of veggies/meat. How hard is that?! It’s so frustrating and it’s embarrassing to keep telling them«hey common that’s a kid size portion» I’m an adult! And please lay off the damn bottom of the pan sauce don’t need that much give me some food! :D Not impressed– but we do stop by :-/

Horrible service! We got here 30 minutes before closing time, they were out of ribs and teriyaki chicken, and the girl told me that they would not cook anymore food because they had to close the kitchen. I’ve never had that happen before, and was shocked. Also, husband had to use the restroom and it was disgusting! No surprise to hear of the bad reviews lately. So, now we’re standing in line at Chipotle!

This one should be just called Panda. Not express. There is no express. It should be referred to as «Panda Sometimes We Have Food Ready Sometimes We Don’t But Regardless Were Slow As Hell». And it’s like that almost all the time. I’ve been in a few times recently and they are always out of popular dishes. Terrible prep and a highly unorganized line. I’ve received the wrong food, and had to wait over 10 minutes for it. Unfortunately there is no other Panda close by or else this one would be referred to as «the bad one».

One star for poor customer service from Tina and Fei(Asian ladies). There was a Caucasian lady with her two kids in front of us four which were helped first. The quantity of food they received was two spoons of each entrée serving. BUT, when it came to our turn, our panda bowls were filled with rice or noodles but barely one spoon of entrée, my uncle’s bowl was mainly rice with ONLY5 pieces of orange chicken. My husband had chow mein and string bean chicken and the quantity was so little, not worth the $ 6 at all. My aunt and I had chow mein and Kung pow chicken and both of us were disappointed with the quantity of food we received. All four of us received less than a full spoon of entrée. We watched as other customers behind us, who were not Asian, were getting two spoonfuls of their entrée onto their plates. What kind of customer service is this. Are these servers assuming that just because we’re Asian we eat less than other customers or did they purposely give us less and assume that other customers eat more! Why is there a difference in proportion servings? We felt offended and wanted to take our complaint to the manager but was too upset to do so and left. Do not go here if you’re Asian and expect to get equal customer service.

I’ve had dining experiences at several different Panda Expresses. This location is usually quite good, but it still suffers from the same problems that most or all locations do: consistency. Some days it tastes great, other times it’s simply not all that fresh. Also indicative of many locations, they don’t keep it very clean, at least during the lunch rush. Granted, it’s the rush, but when you see an overflowing garbage can in the restaurant and multiple tables needing to be wiped down, it doesn’t bring a feeling of warmth and invitation. Finally, I always hesitate going to any Panda Express because they are so wasteful. They usually don’t ask whether it’s for there or to go, and the default is to go. Then you see all these customers with plastic bags and Styrofoam containers when they could have no bag and a paper plate. This location is generally better on this index, but it still happens.

Went in there today on my lunch break, I’m new to the Bay Area so I thought I’d stop by and get some food here at Panda. I got great customer service from a young lady named Brittany. Very energetic and super friendly. I didn’t know what to order and her suggestions were spectacular. She kept herself in a good positive mood despite her customers that were ahead of me that were being so rude to her. She really kept a great attitude when serving me. Very clean place and generous workers. Definitely will be coming back :) thank you ! xoxo

OK, Panda Express is not usually somewhere you would ever find me. I know enough real good Chinese restaurants around to get better food than what they normally serve here. What piqued my interest in Panda Express, is I saw advertisements for their newest offering … «Chinese Spare Ribs». Now most average Panda Express patrons might not know, Chinese Spare Ribs have been around for many decades in Chinese restaurants. The Chinese make some really tasty ribs, not just Southerners from Kansas City can do ribs! This is how Panda Express is promoting their newest rib entrée choice. Chinese style mixed with American rib cookin’. I’ll have to say, there ain’t much American ’bout these here ribs, but if Panda’s marketing department thinks that’s what will sell to across the mid west and USA, then that’s their business. It’s advertised as «bone — in»(I giggle every time I type that!) ribs and no other fast food is offering that. It got my interest though, being a big fan of ribs any style that I am. I gotta check this out. I arrive at the store around just after opening. They open at 10:30. I wanted to get the story on there ribs and how they made them. I stroll up to the counter containing behind he glass all the food offerings. All the usual stuff is there as you can imagine, so I won’t go into all the other stuff. I’m here for the RIBS! I see them in a steamer tray ready to be served. So, I’m guessing they are not cooked to order. Glad I’m getting here when they are fresh. I ask, «So, I hear these ribs are marinated and cooked for 5 hours. Do you do that here?» The young attendant needed to ask the cook. The response from the cook was, «No, the ribs are delivered already cooked and we just add the sauce and fry them up in the wok.» Ah, OK, I figured as much. I think most of the food here is made at the Panda factory and each store just has to deep fry the sweet and sour and orange chicken meat nuggets to serve. So I guess I wasn’t gonna get to see the wok skills of the cook in action. It’s their food production workflow, so I’ll leave it at that. Well, them ribs do look pretty good in the tray. «So, how much are those ribs and how many do I get?», I ask. The small order is 5 ribs and the med is 10 ribs. $ 5.40 for the small and $ 9.40 for the med. I’m not interested in anything else, I wanna just try the ribs. Well, 5 seemed a bit skimpy, so I went for the 10 rib order. $ 10.00 bucks with tax. These ribs are not your normal size ribs other wise 10 ribs would be almost a whole rack. They are maybe 2 to 3 inches long, so it’s like a St Louis rack cut in half. I saw some pieces in the tray without too much meat on them … I told the guy, «Gimmie the ones with lots of meat on them» …flashing as much smile as I can. So he loads a plate with 10 pieces. Just water to drink for me thank you. I find a table with good light … gotta Unilocal some pics ya know! So, after pics, I’m sitting there lookin at these ribs. OK, here we go! I bite in and pull of some meat. The first thing I notice, is how tender the meat is. The meat pulls off easily from the bone as I sink my teeth in. The flavor is not exactly like the Chinese pork ribs in Chinatown(the red colored ones), but actually quite pleasant. They are more saucy. There is a hint of soy and plum sauce and a slight smokiness to the sauce. Most of the flavor seems to be coming from the sauce. I’m surprised by how tender the meat is, because I remember many a rib in Chinatown where the meat was a tough pull and on the dry side. Not much gristle to contend with, although I’m one that doesn’t mind playing with a little gristle in my mouth. There is a decent amount of meat on each bone, so, no complaints. I eat maybe 5 and rest and take more pics. I’m thinkin’, hey a pretty decent rib experience considering it’s Panda Express. I don’t think I’d ever eat anything else here. I polish off the rest of my ribs and think about the whole experience. I’d say the ribs are pretty good and dang tasty. Some have said the price is pretty high for what you get, like it’s half bones! Well, at $ 1.00 ea and 2 will make a St’ Louis Cut rib, that’s 2 bucks a rib, and my $ 10.00 order was then 5 ribs. A full rack at most BBQ places will be $ 22 — $ 24 bucks and have 12 — 13 ribs, so, calculatin’ in my mathematical mind(yeah right) … It comes out about the same price as any rib joint. The thing is at Panda, it’s ready right there … and I suppose you can have fried rice with that.(too bad there are no French fries here!) I’ll rate this 4 stars, but that’s just the ribs! Panda says they will available till the end of July, when they will decide if it sold well enough to continue. I would have no problem with coming back to Panda Express for these ribs, if someone else wanted to come here. Give these ribs a try, even if you would never go to a Panda Express … all the outlets have them.

You have to repeat yourself at least ten times and the ladies will still ask what you want. I love Panda Express, but it is sometimes really greasy. They don’t give big portions, compared to authentic Chinese food. I like the chow mien more than the fried rice. Not a huge celery fan and I feel like the chow-mien has way too much! Sweet fire chicken breast is the bomb! You have to try it!

My rating is based on the food– its taste and quality, as well as the service I received at this location which is next door to Safeway. Food: just as I had expected… I had not eaten at a Panda Express in months, after having gone there to only order food that looked and tasted like it was sitting there for awhile. Unlike another Panda Express, if I requested to purchase from the new batch of their trays… they would do it… sorry I like my food fresh. So when I heard they had this new item on the menu… spareribs,…i picked that up for someone and ordered one for me. I went in there noticing that they use STYROFOAM… which was banned in the city of Dublin in 2010. So being that Im a health and environmental friendly conscious person, I brought my paper container, and the server, Brittany, who came off very rude, judgmental and iimmature just because I brought my owner container. She also did not seem to understand English well because I had to keep repeating what I wanted. I believe her judgmental attitude was getting in the way of her thinking straight and having a professional demeanor that would allow her to provide good customer service even if she was working at a place like Panda Express. So overall experience was POOR… as food was not tasty, and poor in quality… the spareribs had a weird taste… not what I had hoped for and would definitely not buy that again for $ 1.25 extra in addition to what the set price is for 2 items and a side. To me, I wasted my money last night and won’t be back. I would have preferred to have bacon and eggs that I cook at home. As for the customer service experience, Brittany delivered HORRIBLE customer service. Unlike Alex who was at the register ringing up your order… he was a sweetheart and I did not mind telling him how childish Brittany came off. If someone is going to work with the public, I believe they need to do more than just serve food on a platter. In this instance, Brittany needs to work on her people skills or perhaps just get a new job as she could not and was incapable of delivering good customer service without the attitude. Quality food and good customer service go hand in hand. The manager or owner of this place needs to hire new staff and make sure that the person stir-frying this food in the wok is replenishing new food and not with the old. Mixing the food(old and new) is what the food at this location looks like… especially the chow mein. Definitely not coming back as it was a horrible waste of my money and my stomach wanted something better for dinner.

On Saturday, 2÷7÷15, my girlfriend and I ate Panda Express for lunch. Atmosphere/Décor: It’s set up like any other Panda Express. This Panda Express looked pretty clean. Food: I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl with White Rice. The Chicken Teriyaki tasted good. The Chicken was moist and tender. I also liked the taste of the Teriyaki sauce. The White Rice tasted fresh. Service: No matter what Panda Express you go to they always seem packed. The lines can get pretty long. Even though the line was long we still got our food quickly. All of the employees were nice. Overall: I like Panda Express. It’s cleaner than most Chinese Restaurants. I’m a fan of their Chicken Teriyaki and White Rice. It’s simple but good.

This is the new Diet Panda! I call it this because the portion size I received tonight was small and would probably be a portion that would work for any weight watchers plan. On the other hand my wife’s food portion was huge. She probably just got lucky, but then again the manager was the person making my take out box and not my wife’s.:(The manager put my food in the box very fancy like. She picked up the noodles very high and then placed them in the box very carefully. Come on! I was not born yesterday, I know you are just adding air into the food to make it look like you are giving me a big plate. I know you just want me to think, «Wow, look at all that food», especially with how nicely stacked my food looks in the box. Errrm No. Why not just put the food in the box legit, such as putting it down in the box then shaking the box a little, and then put a little more food on top of that. That is what the customers want. ;) Don’t be so cheap, how much money are you really saving anyway, by giving people less food? For Panda, I know you are probably making money hand over fist and this review won’t change anything but at least it will make me feel a little bit better. But then again, I would love for you to prove me wrong!(More food)

Always super friendly. The location is always so clean. I always take my food home, but from what I notice, the tables are always clean and the drink area is always wiped down. The ladies are super sweet and friendly. The parking lot is always a nightmare. I always avoid the Safeway side of it and easily find a spot.
