We are graeters people but decided to try Jeni’s. It is good ice cream. Don’t get me wrong but it’s not graeters. I love the chunks of chocolate it graeters so I prefer their ice cream over Jeni’s. I do like the 2 smaller scoops for one so you can try the different kinds. I liked the almond brickle.

Great place to indulge in some delicious and creative ice cream and yogurt flavors. Quick, helpful employees let you sample flavors. Fresh made waffle pieces served with your ice cream too. Another kid friendly place with a chalkboard wall running along the back with a bucket of chalk. Found this on their website: «Our ice creams have a uniquely smooth texture and buttercream body, with bright flavor and clean finish(we don’t use synthetic flavorings, dyes, or off-the-shelf mixes). You may notice the absence of a long list of stabilizers and emulsifiers on our label; we prefer the more complex process of building texture and flavor without them.» I bet many of the competitor ice cream parlors can’t make this claim!

Nice views and quiet, family — friendly atmosphere. Ice cream flavors are unique but subpar quality. They lack options like shakes and Sundaes. Good stop for a quick grab, lines move decently fast.

One of the few eateries I’ve been to that I can say definitely lives up to the hype! I go here every time I’m in Columbus, Ohio even though Jeni’s now has grown in popularity to be available nationwide with select flavors in frozen pints at grocery stores such as Whole Foods and Vons. The ingredients in Jeni’s artisan ice cream are all natural and locally sourced(milk from cows no more than 200 miles away, according to the website). You can taste the freshness and quality in every spoonful, and it’s not sweet and artificial like other ice cream. The salty caramel is Jeni’s first ever(and signature) flavor but you’ll want to try all the others as well as the changing seasonal varieties. Tonight I got a trio of half scoops for $ 5.85: churro(seasonal), pistachio and honey, and salty caramel. I didn’t even know that pistachio ice cream is not supposed to be green! Jeni’s version was brightly refreshing in my mouth. The churro was outstanding as it had crispy churro bits and an assertive cinnamon flavor balance with a delicate creaminess. GETTHECHURROICECREAMWHILEIT’S STILLAROUND. I’ve been to Jeni’s a half dozen times but tonight finally just tried the from-scratch caramel sauce that chef Jeni Britton Bauer took years to perfect. I already love Jeni’s ice cream but didn’t realize that I could experience it on a whole new level. I dipped the waffle cone(they give you a wedge with your ice cream) into the warm caramel, and oh my. I also poured a bit on my ice cream and let it harden a bit. Wow! GETTHECARAMEL, YOUWON’T REGRETIT. What is most splendid here is that they will literally let you try as many flavors as you want before deciding. I’m excited that earlier this year, Jeni’s opened an ice cream shop back in L.A., the first outside of the midwest/south, so now I don’t have to wait for my next Ohio trip to get a scoop again.

Love this location for jenis, mostly cause there’s a nice outdoor area across the street to chill and hang out. Their ice cream is my favorite in the city, but after the whole listeria thing the flavor selections have been pretty limited. I don’t really have a favorite flavor here cause they rotate so often, but if you can get your hands on that savannah buttermint definitely try that. Also, always get the waffle cone. They’re fresh and delicious. There are a few free 3 hour parking lots in the area so parking isn’t really an issue. It can get crowded, but the staff is always helpful and fast so you should get in and out quickly. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area.

I had been seeing this place every time I came home to Ohio for years and always wondered how the ice cream was. When I was home in February of this year, I was determined to finally make it there. Mind you, it was February. There was a blizzard outside, but I was determined. There are so many options, it’s slightly overwhelming. They allow you to sample, so that was nice. I ended up going with the brambleberry crisp and the brown butter almond brittle. Oh. My. Gosh. It was the most magical ice cream I have ever tasted in my life. I’m still dreaming about it. I need to find a place in Georgia that sells pints or go back to Ohio very soon. It will be one of the places that I have to go to when I come, regardless of the season.

I am not a huge fan of ice cream but I can never pass up Jeni’s, the variety and creativity in the flavors and the overall quality and goodnness is fantastic. Must have flavors include: Reisling Pear, Brambleberry Crunch & Salted Caramel!

I am not a big ice cream eater but by boyfriend has been insisting on taking me. We stopped by after we ate dinner elsewhere and parking was a challenge. We go inside and the staff were so nice and helpful and with great personalities. Since they are still trying to produce more products due to the previous shutdown, they were very limited on the flavors they had on hand. I did taste the popcorn flavor… wow! My boyfriend got a scoop of dark chocolate and a scoop of salted caramel… they were fantastic together. He also had a cone chip in his. In my opinion it tasted like they browned it for too long. Maybe after they are in full production I will try some other flavors.

I love the hell out of Jeni’s anyway, and one of the perks of this one is its location. A couple of doors down on the side street is a yarn shop, and a couple of doors down from THAT is a tea shop! Jeni’s, yarn, and tea all within a two-minute walk. Heaven!(There are also some excellent-looking restaurants just as close by… someday I’ll have to try them.) But for Jeni’s itself, friendly, well-informed staff, and decadent ice cream in many flavors that rotate with the season. They’re local to Columbus, and an awesome, ethical company to boot.

WARNING: Do not go to Jeni’s unless you are ready for all other ice cream to be ruined! Jeni’s is the best ice cream I have ever day — I refuse to eat any others(store bought ice cream is dead to me), which makes me VERY happy that I can get Jeni’s in stores now! I love this location because it is close to home and in the Bridge St area which is very pretty. Te décor of this shop is minimalistic, yet trendy, a great place to sit and chat over the best damn ice cream in the land. it is a bit expensive for ice cream, but you can pronounce ALL ingredients and Jeni’s has a great variety to choose from.

Jeni’s has the BEST ice cream! I tried to go the healthier route whenever I wanted ice cream and joined in on the froyo craze for a bit. But there is no comparison between froyo and Jeni’s ice cream! You walk into the store and you’re just overwhelmed by the delicious waffle smell! They have the most unique flavors and it’s just so GOOD! I love sampling some of the flavors before ordering, but I usually end up with salty caramel and the buckeye state in a waffle cone. The buckeye state has the best blend of dark chocolate bits and peanut butter. The salty caramel is my all-time favorite flavor– its salty/sweet perfection! My husband, the chocoholic, absolutely loves Jeni’s dark chocolate. He always pairs it with the buckeye state. Yes, the ice cream may be a little pricey, but it is seriously so good that it is worth every penny. We’ve been eating Jeni’s ice cream a lot lately. and it’s not even summer yet! We’re in trouble…

H and I were visiting my cousin in Hilliard… and HAD to get ice cream in February. Yes, we had to. After a few recommendations from our cousin, we decided on Jeni’s in Dublin. There are so many Jeni locations. Why did we pick the one in Dublin? This one has its own parking lot and I HATE parking off-street in areas I’m not familiar with. So… a plus for this location due to the availability of parking! Another plus because this location is situated in such a quaint area of town– it reminds me of the small, old-fashioned, blue law towns in New England! We were immediately greeted by energetic workers and made our way to the back of the decent-sized line. We were probably seventh or eighth in line, but the workers made their way quickly and waited on us within minutes. The girl who served us was patient and very willing when offering samples to my super finicky H and I. Honestly, every flavor we tried was unique and delicious! Ultimately, H chose brown butter almond brittle & buckeye state and I chose the wildberry lavender & brambleberry crisp. We both scarfed down our desserts in minutes! We even got to try a few more samples and ended up buying a pint of pistachio/honey on our hour long drive back to Beavercreek, OH. For two scoops of ice cream per person and a pint of ice cream, we paid $ 20 + tip.

Slightly conflicted on whether to give a 3 or 4, because my experience was overall a net positive, but there were a few small things that bugged me. One of my favorite aspects of Jeni’s(asides from the countless numbers of amazing flavors) is their generosity with giving our samples. I spent probably 15 minutes asking for different samples and trying to figure out what I wanted to order. The server who was originally helping us out was extremely friendly and welcoming, but while I was trying to decide on my order, she went to help another group and a different server took over. This server was pretty aloof and unfriendly, and he seemed pretty reluctant to let me try one more sample before I decided on my order. In addition, when I finally did order(Intelligentsia Black Cat Espresso & Seven-Layer Bar), he was pretty stingy with how much ice cream he gave. Moreover, my friend, who’d been debating between the Chocolate Hazelnut and the Chocolate Truffle with White Chocolate Peppermint ice cream sandwiches, ended up asking for the Chocolate Hazelnut, and they gave us the other one instead. I wanted to say something, but my friend doesn’t like confrontation and wouldn’t let me… Quality of ice cream? Top-notch. Service? Could use a bit of work in some areas.

Yes this place deserves every star that can be pulled out of the night sky and dropped into this review. I have never experienced the patience and support they provided me with while taking 20 minutes(I have a family and things take us some time) to wade my way through the sea of delicious flavors. I ended up with brambleberry, intelligencia coffee, and buckeye. They were all incredible and I did not taste a single flavor I would have been disappointed with. Ask for samples and don’t be shy with your need to try so many. The price for 3 scoops of ice cream seems high until you savor EVERY. SINGLE. BITE. Highly Recommend.

I’m a fan of Jeni’s and have been to this location a few times. The staff is competent but seem more reserved in their greetings and more interested in having conversation amongst themselves. I do like the overall layout as the location is large and when I’ve been in there hasn’t been a long line or long wait. Like the other locations the ice cream is delicious!

I love Jeni’s ice cream, but this Jeni’s is a bit too sterile and unfriendly compared to the others. They do of course have the same premium quality ice creams that you expect from Jeni’s, but I always get a weird vibe coming in here. I think the manufactured small towniness that Dublin attempts to permeate rubs off a little here. It looks nice on the outside, but the staff doesn’t feel very welcoming and neither does the interior of the building. Also, no exterior seating(that I can find), and walking across the street to the little Dublin village square doesn’t count!
