Got the Working Mom’s special for less than $ 20 and it was enough to feed more than 4. Will definitely go back again — BBQ was very good. The beans were kicked up a notch and the potato salad among the best I’ve ever had. The sweet sauce was super sweet so we’ll try the mustard next time and hope to try ribs as well. Alot of bang for the buck!

There is just something about food trucks that takes me back to Houston. Add BBQ, and I really feel like I’m back in Texas. My first trip here I got the basic: a pulled pork sandwich with potato salad and thank to a Unilocal check-in offer, a free side of Brunswick stew. My husband ordered the sandwich only with baked beans. The potato salad is out of the world. I love a good chunky potato salad and they hit the nail on the head. Beans were good, nothing jumped out at me about them. This was my first time trying Brunswick stew and it was tasty; a tad on the sweet side for me though. As for the pulled pork, it was falling out of the sandwich bun it was piled so high. And, it was melt in your mouth delicious! My second trip I decided on the pulled pork quesadilla with jalapenos. Once again, it did not disappoint! It was piled high once again between two crispy tortillas.(Only thing missing is some cheese.) I take off a star for the sauce. I am thankful you can get it on the side since I am not a fan of sweet BBQ sauces. That’s just my personal taste though.

Phenomenal BBQ! We had two of their pork sandwich plates one with a side of baked beans and the other was a loaded potato salad(wow that was good). We got hot dogs for the kids and they were split cooked so came out to perfection and uncharacteristically they ate them all! 2 adults and 2 kids with drinks for around $ 20?!? Oh and they use their competition rubs and sauces… without a doubt the best BBQ stop along I-16! Only 5 minutes off the highway!
