Wilson AC and Appliance is an absolutely AMAZING company! We have purchased all of our appliances from them since moving to Austin the summer of 2000 and will continue to do so as long as we live in Austin. We just recently remodeled our kitchen and replaced our double oven, cooktop, and microwave and they worked with us to select the new appliances, delivered, and installed them — they do what they say they are going to do and in the timeframe they originally quoted! They are highly DEPENDABLE and they provide QUALITY products. Even the installers are absolutely WONDERFUL! And their prices are VERYCOMPETITIVE! We are very pleased with Wilson AC and Appliance and you will be, too!!!

Wilson has a great selection of top of the line appliances. The showroom is well designed to really showcase the quality products they sell. SALESPROCESS: «Michelle Lepine» was our sales person. She provided the necessary information and even informed us of a manufacturer’s promotion we were able to use to help save us $ 1000 on our appliance package! INSTALLATION: Wilson was understanding and patient as we waited to close on our new home. Once we finally closed they were even able to move up our install by one week. There was a blemish on our new induction cooktop and«Marissa» was able to get the manufacturer to replace and reinstall with a brand new one in two days, saving our Thanksgiving! Our Monogram appliances are beautiful in my dream kitchen Thank you Wilson, #monogramappliances, %GE!

As a Interior Designer I have worked with Wilsons for 15 years with my clients homes and my own always getting great value and service. Had a few pieces come in damaged recently on my own home, and as painful as it is waiting for the replacement pieces the customer services is always awesome. Josh & Wes came to install my refrigerator front panel and microwave trim kit and were professional, friendly and even polished my stainless appliances before they left. Now thats service!

Josh and Wes just delivered a side by side refrigerator to our new home. They took extra care bringing it in due to the wood floors. Josh said they will be very careful not to scratch them. They both were very courteous to me and respectful of our home, and they answered all my questions happily. Their installation was done carefully and quickly. Towards the finish, Wes polished the other stainless steel appliances saying that you can’t have just one shiny thing in here. They should all look great! Bravo to both of these fellows! We’ll be back for more appliances from Wilson’s thanks to Josh and Wes’ great customer service! Thank you.

Bought a Kitchen Aid fridge from them. Talked to the son Gavin who happens to be the son who is the 3rd generation Wilson there. They came to my house and installed it. Perfect install and awesome customer service! This company will not disappoint!!!

If you are looking for top of the line at high pricing with poor service and bad equipment, wilson is your best choice. We received 5 items, stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and garbage disposal 3 days ago on new constriction. We’ve already replaced the microwave and refrigerator. Now need to replace the garbage disposal. The stove was installed poorly, and the dishwasher is amazing… So far. Save time and money… Go to Walmart, home Depot or Lowe’s. At least the prices are lower.

I highly recommend Wilson Appliance! I had Mark a technician out today and he was quick, informative and punctual. Mark was very knowledgeable and now has not only repaired my appliance but also shared valuable tips on how to properly use my dishwasher saving me time and money! Thanks for the great service Wilson Appliance, I will definitely make our next purchase through you so we get all the good info upfront.

Austin has some of the most attractive appliance showrooms you’ll find anywhere. Wilson is right at the top of the list. This is a beautiful showroom with a wide range of products from very high end to brands everyone can afford. In fact, the showroom is so overwhelming as you come through the door, my wife and I would usually signal each other that we won’t be able to afford the premium prices. That would be a mistake. The bottom line for us turned out to be as reasonable as any of the competition, including the big box competitors. We were surprised. We ended up buying the quietest dishwasher we’ve ever owned. The completely silent Bosch 800+ series. Professional install from Wilson, easy to use, and nice looking. We replaced a 7 yr old GE Profile Series with the ultra quiet package and this Bosch is another level quieter. The GE could be quite noisy if it was struggling with something in its grinding mechanism. The Bosch is designed differently and never reveals that its operating. It is silent. The Bosch may require you to break old habits and begin new ones. You really want to use the JET Dry or similar product to assist drying(the reservoir only needs filling when it signals a refill). You may want to use the softener feature(one fill of the salts may last several months). You will want to consider using the dishwasher overnight to encourage complete drying. We love the Bosch. Dishes are absolutely clean and spotless. Loading is hassle-free and we like the 3rd utensil tray. Everything about the Bosch exudes premium quality. And it is silent. We went back a few weeks later to purchase a GE Monogram double oven. This is a longer story. The GE Monogram replaced our 1st impulse, a Kitchenaid(KEB5209BSS) that we immediately returned for its absurd noise level. This is when you want a retailer who understands how to satisfy an unhappy customer. Let’s understand something: stuff goes wrong. It’s no one’s fault. it happens. What follows is what truly matters. We collected and demonstrated evidence of our«hurricane Kit»(we nicknamed our dysfunctional appliance). Wilson conceded this was a problem on a 24 hour old appliance. We moved on to a far better unit from GE and we couldn’t be happier. Kitchenaid needs to work harder on quality control. BTW, Consumer Reports needs to consider other factors when it creates its rating list. The GE Monogram is beautiful, reliable, quiet, wonderful slick-sliding grates, fast to heat, and accurate. It is far superior to the Kitchenaid which we found unbearable.. . at any price. We’ll send friends and family to Wilson. We’re pretty sure they’ll thank us.

We just completed a kitchen remodel and bought all of our appliances from Wilson’s. They were very professional from start to finish, including the installation process. However, starting with its first use, the dishwasher failed to complete the washing cycle on any setting, so my wife called Wilson’s. They came out to repair it and thought they had, but the problem remained. They came out a second time; same thing. Fast forward a few days to the Monday before Thanksgiving and we still have an unusable dishwasher. When my wife called Wilson’s to inquire when they were coming out to fix it, she was told they were too busy and it would be after the holiday. My wife is not someone to trifle with so she promptly asked for the manager who told her the same thing.(The unusually cold weather was keeping them busy with HVAC work). So she then asked to speak with the owner — Trey. He was very understanding but couldn’t do anything about the availability of his crews… so he came out to fix the dishwasher himself. Which he did. My wife is happy and so am I because I was not looking forward to KP after feeding a house full of people on Thanksgiving.

I have been a long time customer of WIlson… both for service and appliances. Recently they came to the house to repair a couple of items. Their price was rather high, but what disappointed me most was their communication regarding the price. I felt like I was misled regarding what the repair would cost. Whey they ended up charging me WAY more than was quoted, I was told by the supervisor that is how they bill and I could see the notes from the technician if I wanted to. I would recommend calling someone else for your appliance and/or service needs.

As country folk we try to do our business locally. We certainly have tried with Wilson Appliance in Dripping Springs. We have purchased and have had installed a Train heat pump, a dishwasher, 2 washing machines and a dryer. All high end machines and very costly. The sales end works perfectly and they do have a nice showroom. They run this business like a family and that’s great but here’s the rub… you can’t critize someone’s family. The heat pump installization was a little sloppy and we had to have the tech out here a number of times. Wilson employees always have an attitude when it comes to repairs. If the work can be done in one visit, good for you! But, if there are continuing problems due to their workmanship, then you are obviously annoying to them. And still, we did further business with them. Getting them to respond on a Maytag washer I purchased from them just over 2 years ago for a cost of about $ 1,000.00 has been very difficult. They sent me a quote for over $ 1300.00 to repair the machine but even after repeated requests, both email and phone, I simply cannot get them to break out the quote to see what the pricing is on the parts and what the labor cost would be. Their only suggestion was that I call Maytag myself to see if they would cover any of the cost. I did so and found out that at least $ 300.00 of the parts would be covered. As for Wilson, they act as though they never met me before and had not sold me this lemon! No offer to work with me on the labor costs or anything. It must be nice to have such a profitable business that you can just dismiss good customers such as ourselves. Well, for this kind of relationship, I might as well go to one of the big box stores and save myself some money, which I will do today. The idea of having a local appliance store is great but in practice a little less. I am hoping that someone at Wilson Appliance will read this, do some customer relations training and impart to their employees that without us «annoying» customers they wouldn’t be in business. I would not say that you shouldn’t do business with them but if you’re looking for a business that’s customer oriented, for these prices I personally, will look elsewhere.

We have had Wilson’s service, then finally replace, our AC system, and they are great! We recently put in our dream appliances, a 6 burner stove with a grill and 2 ovens, a big vent, plus a new fridge and freezer. The showroom at Wilson’s beats any I have ever seen for top quality appliances, as did their prices. They truly do stand behind what they sell! We could not figure out how to even fit these into our kitchen, but they had great ideas that made it all work! I love cooking on my propane top and electric oven range, and it is great to have the smoke go outside instead of all over the house, like our old vent!

Had a problem with our freezer forming a puddle at the base of our fridge. Wilson’s appliance tech John came out diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and installed it on his next visit. The part turned out to be a design flaw and the manufacturer had since designed a replacement part. Really glad I called Wilson, if I’d taken the other advice I was given, which was to just turn the freezer temp down, who knows what would have happened. So, really happy with the folks at Wilson.

Called them last Thursday because the washing machine quit. It is an expensive machine but going on 8 years old. Whirlpool Duet. Gave them the error codes over the phone and they said they would have to order the part. The service technician arrived on time and was very pleasant and careful. The tech also gave us some advice on a refrigerator problem we were having. Was a fairly expensive repair, almost $ 500.

Absolutely terrible customer service for warranty work. Bought TRANE A/C unit and after 3 years a part wore out, rendering us with no air conditioning with 100 degree temps. Called over Labor Day weekend for service and left message. After a round of phone tag we were left with no response or indication when someone would be out. Tuesday after Labor Day we called again and reached a person who said they were not authorized to work overtime. The technician who came to our home was extremely rude and used a a decorative cloth wall hanging that happened to be resting on a shelf as a rest for the broken, dirty part, staining the cloth. We were told the part is in Austin, but they would have to ship it to Dripping Springs and then maybe by Thursday if they received it they could drive it back to Austin and possibly get us on the schedule by late Thursday or Friday. A week with no A/C and the only response the woman on the phone could give is «we have other customers.» The attitude appeared to be one of complete disgust at even having to back up the warranty, passing it off as not their problem. Buyer beware.
