I used Mike for inspections on two houses. He is VERY thorough, and very efficient in his process. Mike is also very patient, and takes the time to explain everything to you, including the future maintenance. His reports are detailed, and give accurate estimates. Mike arrived early both times and was already on the roof each morning I got there. II also had several follow up questions weeks after, and Mike responded each time. I would highly recommend Mike and his team.

We would definitely use this company again. Mike Matika showed up for our inspection early and got a head start even before we got there. He was extremely thorough with a very clear system — exterior first — roof and grounds, then interior — basement to attic. He tried all the windows, looked up chimneys, tested all faucets and appliances and took meticulous notes. His notes were in a notepad as he went through the house but he transferred them to us in a detailed electronic report, complete with estimates. As he went through the house with us, he walked us through every thing he observed and his conclusions. He educated us about every aspect of the house and was very patient about answering all our questions. We would strongly recommend him to our friends and family; and would be glad to contract him again.

I would not recommend this company. The inspector’s report on the house we were buying was short on facts and recommendations, even though we were charged $ 1,000. I found that price extremely high for what we got. I wish we’d used the company that the buyers of our house used: that inspector provided pages and pages of descriptions of what was right with our house, what was wrong, how to fix it and how much it might cost. Plus, the observations Matika made during the inspection consisted of him scribbling notes here and there in no organized way on a manila envelope. The other company used a laptop and was much more precise.
