I absolutely love this place. Every time I have gone here I have received yummy food and excellent service. Can’t say it any plainer than that. Best tomatoes I have ever tasted(well outside of those from my grandmother’s garden) yummy crab cakes, and a great assortment of wine(white sangria is my current fave). Would be a great place to assemble a gift basket of local stuff for a friend or relative.

I am from a farm town in Maryland and wanted to find a good place to get fresh produce in this area(I am here for school) and this place was amazing. They have a ton of flowers, fresh veggies, fruits, pies, bread, fish, nuts, cookies, pasta sauce, fresh mozzarella, jellies, honey, pickles, even ice cream. They had a much larger selection than other places I have been to in the past and all of the pies, breads, cookies, etc are baked by the owner. I just bought pumpkin bread and it was AMAZING! While not everything is made there, all of it is «local.» The veggies I can remember off the top of my head(It’s june, so what’s in season) were zucchini, yellow squash, cucumbers, different types of onions, asparagus, tomatoes, lettuce, snap peas, green beans, green peppers, beats, potatoes, and probably a few others I missed. Lots of fruit too! The lady who was running the stand was incredibly nice. She walked me around and told me exactly where everything came from, how pricing works, what she bakes every morning, and gave everyone who walked in the door a sample of the most delicious cantaloupe I’ve ever tasted! The prices are reasonable, cucumbers were $ 0.89, zucchini and yellow squash were a dollar something a pound, and the fresh baked stuff was a little more expensive, but worth every penny. If they just had some red meat, eggs, and milk, I wouldn’t have the need to shop anywhere else! I will absolutely be going back to this place!

Sweet little farm stand! We have been frequenting this neighborhood gem since we moved into the area almost ten years ago. The pies are to die for, produce excellent, plants and flowers very nice… hope this place sticks around for many years!

This is a cute little ma and pa farm stand on the corner of Limekiln and Susquehanna. The owners are super friendly and the food is always seasonal and fresh. After stopping there about twice a week last month(cider donut obsession!) I found out that the owner drives out to Lancaster county one to two times a week for the fresh produce. His wife makes all the baked goods in the shop at her house. When she told me this, I didn’t believe her(there were so many delicious goodies… how could one woman bake them all?) but she told me that she wakes up at 2:30am each day to bake and goes to bed after dinner. That’s dedication! Bottom line… support this little farm stand sitting on prime real estate. I hope they will be around a long time to feed me my cider donuts and fresh produce!

Well here it is, September 26th, and the fresh produce season is singing its swan song. Dresher Farm Market, sometime called Kate’s Corner, is located close to the intersection of Limekilm Pike and Squeeze-me-Hannah Road –across from that gigunda church that was buit last year. They have some local produce, but most comes from Lancaster County: big fat tomatoes; nice, firm peppers; sweet sweet melons; and(of course) peaches. When in season, you can’t beat their peaches for flavor and consitancy. They are«paper towel» peaches — so juicy that you need to keep a paper towel under your chin to catch the drips. My absolute favorites are the«donut peaches» when they are in season. Just about 5 bites of pure peach heaven. Now it’s apple and plum season, so you will find a nice variety of those in stock. They carry some jarred relishes and jams from Lancaster as well as a selection of fresh pies and fruit breads. I stopped in today and got what are probably their last ears of sweet corn for the season. I cook it in only a small amount of water(no salt & no sugar) for barely 3 minutes. That’s just enough time to get the ears hot enought to melt the butter I slather on after. We could eat an entire meal of just that corn! Sweet corn and juicey, vine-ripened red red tomatoes have always meant summer to me, and Dresher Farm Market is the place to get ‘em. Now that Fall is here, they have a wonderous array of mums, pumpkins and corn stalks, as well as the winter squashes, like butternut. As an interesting aside, they are one of the businesses in Upper Dublin that participates in the Recycle coupon program. You accumulate points by recycling in the township and can redeem your points on line for coupons to local businesses. Now isn’t that an awesome thing?!
