I am sometimes unable to get my usual nail tech at my regular salon so on a whim, I stopped in to Star Nails the other day for a pedicure.
I have wanted to try a French pedi for a long time and even though I am a male Nita cheerfully agreed to my request and as you can see from the photo she did an excellent job. I was very impressed by her attention to detail and the time she spent on my nails.
I just had my second French Pedi by Nita and as you can see from the picture she did an excellent job once again.

Best nail place I’ve found in Dracut or Lowell. The girls are all friendly and the prices are reasonable. They accept credit but cash only for tips and have a frequent visitor reward program. All around best nail salon!

I’m updating my review because I’m no longer thrilled with this salon. I ALWAYS leave good tips when I’m about to leave a salon but one time the price for my services was $ 19 so I gave $ 20 and wasn’t given change. You still need to give me my change and let me decided what to give as tip. I never said to keep the change! Another time I paid by card. When I received the receipt there was a line so you could write in tip… so I did. Then I was very rudely told «we don’t like taking tips on cards.» Ummmmm ok… don’t take it then. I’ll take my patronage elsewhere also. Why have a place to write in tip if you don’t want tips left on cards anyways? This is all in regards to the woman that handles acrylic nails. The young girls that work there are very nice.

I just moved to the area and was happy to find Star right around the corner. I have been multiple times now and the ladies do great work and are very friendly. I can generally make an appointment on the same day, often within hours of calling, if not sooner. There are multiple pedicure stations with newer massage chairs (bonus massage!). They really take their time and give a great leg and foot massage. Reasonable/​fair prices and they always offer to touch up the gel manicure if it starts to chip within the first two weeks. This will probably be my go-​to salon!
