Banner Pest Control

Rick, the owner of Banner Pest Control supported us during a very difficult bed bug infestation in our apartment. He showed up, did a walk through, an initial treatment and two full treatments following our first meeting. All of this taking place over the course of a month. He was very kind and offered helpful information.

We called them out to deal with a bird that had gotten into one of our vents. They showed for the initial appointment to ID the problem, one additional as a follow up then after they were a no show for the appointment to fix the problem, nothing for the past 3 months… Left plenty of voicemails, still nothing. Our problem is still unresolved.

I paid for 8-​month warranty of Rick’s service. The woodpecker came back again in the same areas in less than 6 months. I have been contracting him via emails to have him come back again for a month now. Every time he would respond saying he would come in a week. But he never kept his promise. I still haven’t seen him to come back to fix the problem. If you are looking for a pest control service that values the warranty, stay away from this one!
Rick, the owner contacted me after I posted my review and gave me an appointment for coming over to finish the work. He was unable to come for a few times but he did notify me beforehand to reschedule. Finally he was able to come on ⁵⁄₂₈ to patch the remaining areas and treated one area he missed for the first visit. The area was not painted as what he said he was going to do. But since the woodpeckers so far haven’t come back, I would say I am good with the service done so far. I might give this company another try if I ever need the service again. Hopefully it will be better next time.

Rick, the owner, reached out to me soon after I posted my initial review and made everything right. He personally handled the follow-​up treatment under warranty and discovered an additional 3 nests that were missed the first time.
My gut says he’s an honest guy who was just having some scheduling issues, so I would use Banner Pest again the next time we have pests in need of eviction (and being in New England, that’s basically when not if).
