This place was awful. The Crawfish were tasteless. as well as the overcooked steak. and the seafood platter. The free hush puppies were the best thing we had on our $ 100 ticket. Don’t waste your time or your gas. I had to put 1 star in order to post. Friendly service.

Whoa, Wilson’s Bistineau Inn is newly renovated after all these years. Great Party Deck, lots of outside seating! I love all of the great memories I have of Wilson’s. I’ve been coming to Wilson’s since I was a young teenager. I’m just so happy that they’re still open just under a different name. Wilson’s has been around for some 35+ years. We LOVE this place! It’s family owned and operated & it’s in a quaint little house, overlooking beautiful Lake Bistineau in Doyline, LA outside of Bossier City. Lot’s of boats just pull up to the bank and walk on up to the restaurant. Ya just have to be pretty careful because there are always a few gators sunning themselves on the bank. I ordered the Jumbo Fried Shrimp with Baked Potato, and it was delicious! I normally ordered the 10 oz Filet Mignon in the past and, it was always cooked to perfection. It looks like they’re only servin’ up Ribeye’s these days & they’re mighty good, as well! My husband ordered the Cajun Rib-eye & Fried Catfish. They serve pinto beans and cornbread before your meal, as well as pickled green tomatoes and pickled okra… etc. The desserts vary, and are made fresh every day. I like the Chocolate and Coconut Pies. The Lemon Ice Box Pie is darn good, as well. Don’t give up looking for Wilson’s, it’s very secluded! Hours: Wednesday 5 – 8 Thursday 5 – 8 Friday 5 – 9 Saturday 5 – 9 Sunday 12 – 8
