Are you in the mood for blue and purple metallic diner booths from the 60s, old diner stools that swivel and eavesdropping on the conversations of retired truckers and the Downsville Ladies Bridge Club? If so. Welcome to paradise ! This is a no frills, small town diner that boasts an almost time capsule quality to the random collection of multi– era wall décor and«Be Nice or Leave» signs. We had pancakes, bacon and coffee and lived to tell about it. Service was fast and food was cheap. It lacks a perfect rating due to the questionable cleanliness of glasses and silverware. But hey it’s a diner. And if you can’t get down with that you probably shouldn’t be traveling round these parts anyhow. Besides, I think this is the only place to eat in Downsville.
