I will refer Ed to anyone within ear shot… or computer shot :) Even after I moved to the city I STILL take my car there because he is THAT trustworthy. As a female, I used to get jerked around by mechanics who thought I didn’t know any better, and honestly I DIDN’T always know better. The first time I brought my car to Ed with an issue, he walked me over to a free-​standing engine to show me exactly what was happening and what needed to be done to my car. I just brought my car to Ed on Tuesday because I’m getting my car inspected at my dealership on Saturday (I get inspections and oil changes free there) and they charge an arm and a leg for service! I would rather take the day off work and bring my car to Caln Auto to get everything fixed first than have the dealership do the work.

Centrally-​located Caln Auto is a good choice for anyone looking for an honest mechanic. Ed did all of my work on my last 2 cars until I bought a new car and moved, making his shop somewhat inconvenient for my needs (plus warranty repairs have to be done at dealer). He always gave me the straight deal and charged me fair prices for the work he was doing.
Plus, he’s got a great sense of humor.
