It is a doggone shame that this place closed down. What a fantastic restaurant! I come from a Caribbean family. My uncle recommended Mama Fina. We made it our regular hangout. It was the only place I ever went that I could eat something nearly as good as mom’s cooking. They even had the«Pegao» on the rice cooked perfectly. So what if the dad taking the orders got 50% of your order wrong, because he spoke no English! Whatever he brought out, you would LOVE. My favorite was the oxtail, rice, beans and platanos. OWNERSOFMAMAFINA: Please reconsider re-opening your fine facility. Southern California is aching for REAL Caribbean cooking.

Place doesnt seem to exist; too bad, they had good food at the other location. The night club they are suppose to be in is never seems to be open during the day. The phone number also doesnt work. Wasted two trips in 3 months only to find out they are not open.

My son and I ate at their original location(pictures are on their web site). All I can say is the food was DELICIOUS! I’m so glad that moved much closer to me. Now I can go there more often and be able to pick up food on the way to work.
