Lids

Customer service is bad. Chic employees are never happy to see customers. I prefer the cerritos location.

If you want to come and purchase something from a lids store that allows its employee (Liz) to browse through a pet shop magazine instead of helping a customer, this is the one to come too. I attempted to converse with her regarding a purchase of a back ordered hat and it seemed that a cage for a parrot on page 18 of the catalog was more important. I’ll just place my order online and get this over with.

This place has a decent assortment of hats. The employees are sort of bland at times. Don’t really help much if focused on computer for what ever reason, they give blunt answers to questions and tell you what ever for you to go away. This is only store location I’ve experienced this at for lids.

Bad customer service. They don’t offer any help the times I’ve been here with my boyfriend and son.

This is a smaller Lids location compared to some of the other mall locations, but they have a great selection of LA hats. Most of the time you can find some hats on sale, but they tend to be the ones that people don’t want. Then other times they have a special where you can buy 1 get 1 50% off, but that excludes some hats. This time, they were having a back to school special where anything and everything in the store was buy 1 get 1 50% off. I couldn’t pass up the deal so I got 2 new LA hats. The customer service was great and friendly. Playoffs are around the corner so I need to make sure I’m ready!!! GO DODGERS!!!

This lids is smaller compared to others, but have always been treated nice at this location and have nothing bad to say. If you need a hat for whatever team you like this is the place to come.

Went on Monday (5÷13÷13) and luckily I was in the mood to buy my hockey team’s (penguins) hat. I went in, and the girl who attended me informed me that the hat I was looking for was not only $ 20 but it was on sale at an additional 20%… so yeah… I totally bought 2, and loved the fact that East coast teams dont get love, and in turn my wallet does… Sweet Sweet Capitalism

This place is great! I’ve never really been a hat person, but I’ve been wanting one so I went to Lids to check it out. Both the guys there walked me through buying a hat. As cheesy as it sounds, there is a lot to learn. Like… MLB Authentic New Era hats shrink just a bit, so I purchased a hat that was just a tad loose, but still comfortable.
Anyway, the service was great. They greeted and attended everyone that was in the store while I was there (about one hour), offered and looked for (multiple times) different hats in my size. I ended up buying a Detriot Tigers hat (I’m not a fan, just like the hat). Very happy with my purchase and extremely satisfied with the service. This definitely beats the service at the Lids at my local mall, which will make me return.
Why four stars? Well… some hats weren’t available in my size. And while I can understand that, it is a very common size that they didn’t have in 5 different hats I wanted.

Good thing this says closed! The customer service is horrible!!! Don’t buy at this store. You would think that a $ 35 hat (that daughter saved money for dads gift) would get you good service. This business obviously needs to learn that customers are always right. We will never buy at Lids again!!! C’mon…All we wanted was a size exchange.
