I went to this location today and i was highly satisfied, everytime i go to the Torrance location i get bad attitude, or they dont even aknowledge me, so i was around Downey today so i decided to stop by this express, from the moment i walked in everyone was so nice & helpful, the manager helped me find the skirt I was looking for and the cashier Sergio was extremely nice too, i dont mind driving all the way to Downey from Torrance when I get great customer service!

Least favorite express! No one ever acknowledges you. Ever. I have on several occasions walked through and shopped and no one ever says welcome, hi, are you finding everything ok, nothing! They also have no sizes. I have no idea if they have back stock because like I said, there’s no one to help!

Express is one of my favorite places to shop for clothing! I came here today to get some short sleeve shirts for work. I was helped right away! They offered to take the shirts I had selected to the dressing room area for me so I wouldn’t have to carry them around. That’s cool! When I came back out I went back to the shirts and a really nice guy helped me out. He showed me all of the short sleeve shirts they had and even told me about some cool shorts to go with them. He did it so naturally it didn’t seem like as if he just wanted me to spend money! He was pretty good at telling me the price of the clothing after the discount was applied. As I was leaving the guy asked what my name was. Very friendly! This store is great and every time I have been here I have had a positive experience! The only thing about Express is that the clothing isn’t cheap. Expect to pay about $ 60 for a shirt. I don’t care that much about the prices though since I want to look good and I like their style and color selection.

So I am very pleased with my experience here. I went today to purchase a basic shirt for work and the two associates who assisted me were standard polite and helpful. But what really blew me away was when my dad(he was with me to give an opinion) became interested in purchasing some new jeans. Gabby was there to assist us and she was amazing! Very knowledgeable about product and ran back and forth to pull different washes and fits so my dad can choose the ones he liked best. She was very personable and could go far in customer service with time :) the downside is pricing. My dad wasn’t too thrilled with spending $ 130 on two pairs of jeans and one already being half price. $ 85 for the buy one get one 50% deal would have been nicer. He ended up coughing up the $ but he was slightly regretful… but I trust the quality is good and they were worth the investment :)

So when you think of coming to Express you really think of the clothes right? Well… They have their spread… The store is clean, the clothes are all looking good. I cant complain about that. The only thing I can think of is the store being bigger??? But, that’s it. Now, the customer service in this store isn’t the best. I read the review that was left before mine, my experience wasn’t that bad. Every time I usually walk in someone will greet me, it’s just by the time I head up to the cashier there never really pleasant and there always in a rush. My recent visit was similar. The guy at the cashier just did his job and that was it. He wasn’t rude… but, there was no personality. If you have the time to go to a differ location, do it! I’m sure they have a bigger selection, and you will probably be greeted with a smile.

I LOVE Express!!! Not this location though. Service is a DISASTER. When an employee walks by you after she sees you several times waiting for a dressing room that’s a disaster. When you’re flagging her down and she doesn’t pay attention, that’s just plain bad. When you’re waiting in line trying to purchase 5 items, no one is ringing, employees walk by you, ignore your existence and then go chit chat with one another, you should just fire those idiots. If you’re in retail you need to know WTF customer service is. Otherwise, give someone else your job. It’s tough finding a job these days, get these idiots out and make some money for your store(note for the mgr).
