Welllll, Mumzers was at it again. Getting sick, that is. She’s better now, so happy ending and all that, but I have somewhat mixed feelings about this joint.
I guess they’re becoming part of Presbyterian Intercommunity (PIH) and aren’t quite sure if they’re coming or going. I saw signage for both. Mumzers needed a visit to the ER, and we figured it would be ok, since she’d been there before, and had a pretty good experience then.
But the ER was awful. People coughing and snuffling everywhere, no masks provided, and in tight quarters too. I’m looking at people and mentally thinking «mhmmm, avian flu, ebola, hanta virus… Lord just get me out of here!»
The ER doctor treating Mumzers was a bit out of it too, like she wasn’t all that certain what she was doing. But long story short, Mumzers went home, felt better, and I contracted none of the afore-​mentioned plagues, so I guess all’s well that ends well…
