It’s a regular chipotle. Only thing was the white cilantro-lime rice just tasted like steamed dry rice. Y’all need to offer lemons cause as soon as my transaction was done they fled to the back with out saying bye or thank you bye. Lol like I wanted some lemons.

If I could give zero stars I would. This Chipotle is going down hill, rude employees kill my appetite like no other! The cashier(Kim) was one of the worst I’ve dealt with. Not to mention that there were literally only 3 people in line and yet we still managed to be in line for around 25⁄30 minutes which is bizarre to me. Will no longer be coming here again.

Real quick review: This is my usual Chipotle spot. Seen new staff, décor getting older. But it consistently retains its quality. Just got a burrito, they got the tortilla touching the metal work, lead guy came over and corrected that health hazard. Got my meal and thankful that even after all these years this Chipotle is keeping business on top.

This is the first time I’ve been here. It’s a different flavor to what I’m normally used to. The cilantro line rice alone is very different from the traditional red fried rice. The bell pepper and red onions is also different. Their green salsa is good though.

I always forget not to eat at this particular chipotle. They«servers» are always skimping out on food. Like there is a shortage of food. Or like you aren’t going to pay for you meal. This last time. I swore not come here again. They meat that I received was almost non existing… When I asked for the guacamole I received the«guac is extra» warning and like every time I agree for the extra fee… But the guac that I received felt to me like it was scraped off the spoon and placed on my burrito. I almost felt like completely walking away and going to eat someplace else… But I was not going to do that. And just decided to give this place the worse rating i possibly can

Chipotle is one of my favorite places to eat. Always enjoyed their quality of food and prompt service. I eat at a chipotle once a week. This time around I was displeased with the level of service, the quality in their chicken, and their very old guacamole. Had this been the only time I would not of given a 2 star rating but this has become a frequent issue at this place.

Why do you guys have 2.5 stars? I don’t know! Best service compared to other Chipotles. Every time I walk in here I get a friendly and cheerful greeting. «Hey, welcome to chipotle» or «hey, welcome! What can I get ya» with a smile. Meals are well served and the food tastes fresh. Employees make a fun environment for the customers.

I have been ordering the food online lately only cause I hate to have to wait in a line when it could just be ready when I get there. Or at least you would think it would be ready. Ive came in 3 times this past week and its never been ready on time. Also they never get my order right. I always order 2 bowls one for me and one for my boyfriend and they always put what should be in mine in his or vice versa. How hard is it to a read a paper thats tell you what to put in each bowl. At this point I might as well risk the wait of waiting in line.

Chipotle was still one of my favorite go to places for something quick and even after with the whole tomato scandal but after today I’m not so sure anymore especially at this location in Downey. Nothing tasted fresh at all and I came in at noon time. I usually order a salad bowl with chicken and the lettuce tasted horrible, the veggies were way over cooked and the chicken just did not taste good at all. I’m always able to finish my bowl without a problem but this one I was only able to take a few bites and tossed it. It seems like I’m just getting more disappointed with Chipotle every time I go in.

We had stayed away from Chipotle during the frightening e-coli months, but had years of great experience with Chipotle prior to that… so when we received a coupon in the mail for a free Chipotle burrito, we figured Chipotle really wanted to get its old customers back, and we were happy to return! …Wrong! We ordered a chicken burrito to go, and when we got home found that the chicken was undercooked and mostly gristle. It was disgusting. In fairness, their guacamole is still fantastic! But we’ve eaten in many Chipotles all over CA, not just this one, but never had bad chicken… until this experience at this Chipotle. We didn’t see the point in calling them to complain, because caring what they served customers would have prevented this from happening in the first place… how hard is it to tell when chicken is undercooked? Is the problem poor training of cooks, or inexperienced food management? Especially for a company that just lost millions of customers to an e-coli problem in its stores? Even free(we did pay for our chips and guacamole), this was a bad deal. We will not be going back to this Chipotle location, ever.

Went here an hour ish before it closed and they still had everything in stock and delicious. Got the burrito and it did not disappoint. The price wasn’t bad for the amount of food. Split a burrito with someone but was still so full. A friend got tofu tacos and it also did not disappoint. They all have very nice utensils to go and their staff were friendly! Would totally come again!

SUPERRUDE! Came here to grab dinner since I was craving Burrito Bowls. I’ve never had such horrible service like today. Behind the counter all the workers were young guys. The two girls in front of my husband got flirted on and hit on the entire time EVENWHENHEWASPUTTINGINOURORDER. It was totally annoying because the two girls who came after my husband. like wayyyyy after… got their ordera done before us. Completely ridiculous. NOTTOMENTIONTHEYKEPTCOMINGBACKANDREASKINGWHATOURORDERWASBECAUSETHEYWERENTPAYINGATTENTION. Worse part is they even forgot my corn. Whats up with that??? See 4 girls in like and you cant think with your right head but instead u think woth the head in your pants so you have to constantly ask over and over what we said our order was. Its already bad enough they had issues with their food cleanliness but now the service has gone way downhill since it relaunched. Foods good but who knows. given how poor the service was they might give me some type of disease along with the burrito bowl. No thanks. I dont care how good the bowls are. I wont be returning.

On December 17, 20153PM Worst chipotle experience/lovation! I was going to the UPS store next door and stopped by. The cashier had the worst attitude! She threw my cup of guacamole on the tray and slid it my way didn’t say thank you or anything. And to top it off she forgot to give me my cup. Didn’t apologize for forgetting or anything. If I were you guys I would drive the extra distance to the location in south gate. Never returning to this store again.

THISPLACESUCKS!!! the cashier was rude with an attitude. she overcharged me & game me a look like«so what»! I had to ask her how she is going to fix being overcharged by $ 4 before she even did anything. sorry if I made have to walk over to your manager & ask him for help. The food was severely undercooked. I couldn’t tell if I was eating beans or peanuts they were so hard. I can’t believe how this place is ran. I always had a good experience at the very least. I hope someone cleans up house here. in the mean time, stay away!

Ate here again recently and sadly the cooking has gotten worse. I was served UNDERCOOKEDCHICKEN. I’ve had Salmonella before and it was not fun, thank you Downey Chipotle for reminding me of my pleasant childhood memories. I immediately called Chipotle to tell them what happened and check their chicken to make sure no one else had raw chicken and the manager was able to refund my money. Thanks Will! Please get a new chef and staff(: Never again coming back to this Chipotle.

If I can give this place zero stars, I would. This is the WORST chipotle I’ve ever been to. The management here fucking sucks and the workers are super slow. It’s like they’re slow on purpose to piss off the customers. Everyone was getting so mad. too bad this is the only chipotle in downey. If I were you, I would drive longer distance and avoid this one.

I have mixed emotions about this place. I love it and I hate it. Always the longest lines and no matter how fast the workers throw the food together, it is never less than a 30 minute wait, no matter what time of the day you go. I don’t care for their meat because I only eat lean, lean, lean meat and their chicken has a lot of fat and the steak is a tad too rare and a tad too spicy. I get the sofritas salad bowl with their yummy tangy dressing and salts ass chips. I like that it’s healthier than fast food but it’s extremely high in sodium. And the lines/wait suck!!!

Waited in line for over 30 minutes. As could be seen through the photo I posted, they had two line workers and a cashier(that kept disappearing) for over 30 people in line! We get up there and try to order three items of carnitas(due to spices, this is all my kids and mom can eat). «We are out of carnitas.» Okay, how long until there is more? «Oh, we don’t have it at all.» Of course I was upset. I asked if there was a sign I missed somewhere because that is all they can eat. Her response«Well, if you need a moment, please step back so I can help the next person.» I go ask for a manager who gives me a song and dance about how it is a regional shortage, etc. I express that that is okay but when you have a 30+ minute line, an announcement needs to be made. Every 15 minutes or so yell out«Just to let you know, we do not have carnitas tonight» and/or post a sign. Her response, «sorry, how about I comp you a kids meal?» WTF??? I declined but she gave me a BOGO(woo hoo… not.) Not that hard, just yell out letting people know. Making people wait that long and you are missing one of your most popular entrees? Guess what, at the end, she just walks to the back. Didn’t take my advice under consideration at all. Horrible.
