I have a love-hate relationship with Albertson’s love it because it’s close love it because it’s a big store with lots of everything I want hated because it’s overpriced I enjoyed lots of fruits and vegetables in my diet and there’s so much more expensive here other than that it’s local it’s close and I do support local business even though it’s a monster size chain

I am from paramount, and those who know paramount know that my local options for grocery stores are food4less, el super, and stater bros. All of which have a steady infestation of ghetto-nians, with there large pack of barbarian children pillaging the fruits. Speaking in steady streams of four letter words, parents lacking of education and no baby daddies in sight. Paying with foreign currency(ebt) and you see the mounds of food they have in their basket and you look at you rations and wonder how the hell do they do it. Of course, out comes e.b.t. and then it hits me… i’m paying for it. Then they argue over 10 cent error at the cashier and hold up the line, so the other ghettonians can lose it and get in a shoutting match. No thank you!!! Albertson’s is like my oasis from the rif-raf. Sure they charge a bit more but if that guarantees I will not see any ghettonians there, … Here you go Albertson’s i’ll pay you an extra $.08 on the dollar! This Albertson’s always has the best selection of fruits and vegetables… something the other places don’t. People are friendly and they still bag your groceries… ya that’s right they still bag your groceries! And employees are always helpful… even carry your bags to the car… it’s like straight out of the history books…. Good luck asking a food 4less employee for help, they will shank you in the parking lot and take your groceries…

I hate going to the grocery store for many reasons. Dumb ass employees who don’t know where anything is, random stocking, and slow cashiers with only one lane open. This store changed my hate for grocery shopping. I came here to get ingredients for my boyfriends dinner tomorrow. The first thing on my list was Italian chicken sausage, and I was already getting heated because there was none on the shelf. As I almost walked away, the man behind the meat counter came over asked what I needed and got me my Italian chicken sausage from the back. I was so damn thankful and surprised. Best service ever. They had every ingredient I was looking for and with a self checkout available, I was in and out. Most pleasant grocery shopping experience ever.

This market is always really clean and well stocked. You can find almost anything you need here. They carry a variety of fruits and veggies you won’t find at other markets. Prices are quite high tho. The staff is friendly too. There is one cashier named Erin. I’ve been meaning to give her kudos for many years now but I always forget. she has got to be the nicest person I’ve ever met. I remember even before she became a cashier she has always been so nice and happy. I have yet to see her in a bad mood or act like a B. keep it up Erin, you’re super pleasant to be around.

This is one of the better supermarkets in Downey. It’s always clean and well stocked. I also like the fresh bread they make daily. Yum! The selection is great and the meat and deli departments are good too.

The entrance is really… awkward. Grab a basket from outside and walk through the rotating wheel(like for a ticket line… I don’t know what they are called) as you push your basket through a gate alongside it. This doesn’t seem very user friendly for any physically handicapped shopper, but is perhaps necessary to cut back on people from stealing stuff. Produce, deli, bakery, and meat/seafood sections are the best. While it is a bit pricey unless you have their Rewards Card(I’m so sick of those things…), these four sections have probably the best fresh, quality food. Lady at the self-checkout area that I saw yesterday afternoon was very multi-tasked oriented. Now if I could just find a market that sells the green Tabasco sauce my husband likes. Review #125

Best market ever, yea it’s a bit expensive but the quality and cleaniness of the food and the helpful staff makenit well worth for me. They always have the kind of snacks and brand of food that I’m looking for that icant normally find at a food 4 less. The deli, bakery, and produce section is my favorite place in the whole market, I hardly go down any other aisles.

This is the market that is closest to the house… Awhile back I accidently called it «Albertoson’s» and the name stuck. I guess I was mixing the names of the Mexican food place down the street and this location. I like the self checkout because when the lines are a little busy, it is nice to take things into your own hands and just get out quick! I love their fried chicken and the service is usually great.

Pioneer, Louisanna, Roscoe, all great chicken, but Albertson’s is no slouch, no second fiddle when it comes to fried chicken. There are times when this particular location has actually ran out of it, but the deli people are quick to provide its hungry customers with more. I had always known Albertsons for thier entire deli section, thier french bread and selection of items not always found at some grocery stores; in addition to the chicken. Plenty of places to park, freindly staff, convenient location, and discounts on certain items at times, clean atmosphere. This place is close to the Stonewood mall, a strip of locations on Firestone and in the middle of the 710 and 605 freeways. The great deli prepared food such as chicken, potatoes, sausage and more. To this day, I still think Albertson’s Fried Chicken is one of the best! This store has alot, reminds me of the Von’s in Orange. I see wines, bread, huge selection of frozen goods and drinks. Lots of checkout’s which they need because alot of people shop here. They also have a decent fruit area, not greatest prices but great fruit. This is a place I will find myself going back to from time to time.
