This review is for the ace hardware store in Woodridge next to the goodwill
this is a great store to go to if you need no help
I’ve been there when the store opens at 8 a.m. and the only person that could answer my question was busy unloading a delivery truck
I’ve been to the store several times and rarely get asked if I need any help I guess I look like I know everything
it’s a decent store there have been times when people were helpful but I would have to say that 8 out of 10 visits I get zip.

One of the last old school hardware stores in the burbs. Great staff, super friendly and knowledgeable. They do tool rental, key cutting and all of the other great services we all used to know hardware stores for. Thanks guys keep up the invaluable service you offer all of us do-it-yourselfers.

Solid local hardware store. Friendly staff and know their stuff. I own an older house and this is the place to find items you won’t get at Home Depot. Little things like that certainly help. I went in a few weeks ago with an old lock. They easily could have sold me a new one, but the guy says, «let me see if we can just clean this out» and five minutes later he has disassembled it, cleaned it, and put it back together good as new. No charge he says. They’re good about giving advice on projects too.

What makes a one hardware store better than another? Service.
This Ace Hardware has really good people that are not just knowledgeable and helpful, they know how to take care of customers. When I needed to bring somehting back for any reason they gladly took it and replaced it.
This Ace Hardware reminds me most of the small independent hardware store in the town where I grew up. They solved problems, offered advice, provided a helping hand and were genuinely glad to have you as a customer.
