My mother needed to sell some old jewelry that she didn’t know much about, so after a lot of research I took her here. They exceeded their already stellar reputation.
While the shop isn’t much to look at itself, the selection of jewelry and coins is astounding and all the employees know their stuff. There is a separate and pleasant evaluation area where an employee evaluated all my mom’s jewelry for free. When it came time to weigh it out, he consistently estimated on the high side and rounded up in our favor. With the stones he didn’t want, he quickly and gently removed them and gave them back to us along with suggestions for resetting or possible other uses (and their custom settings were certainly lovely!).
I asked questions on coins out of curiosity and he was able to fully explain in detail everything so I could understand it.
I did the math when I got home and these guys are taking very slim profit margins after all the work they have to put in. You can tell this store runs on building a genuine and trusting relationship with clients, which was beyond refreshing. It would have been easy to undervalue our items but they made a point of giving us a fair deal.
I am beyond pleased and my mother was thrilled. She will definitely be going back for any future jewelry or coin needs and so will I.

I went to AAA Jewelry based on what had been written on Unilocal about this local business. I had never been here, nor had my friends.
They buzzed me in and told me someone would be with me shortly. Sure enough a gentleman came around the counter and said, «How can I help you?» This was Mario Senior.
I had brought in a newly purchased opal to see if they could rework the setting. Mario was honest and forthright while he educated me about my recent purchase. I adore the statement he made, «Sure, some jewelers would take your money and try to rework the setting, but I don’t think the stone is stable enough. You shouldn’t have bought a stone like this, but you really don’t want to take that chance.»
Mario gave me the name and phone number of an independent appraiser. «Set up an appointment with Ms. Oaks. See what she has to say about the stone.» More on that in separate review.

I never thought I’d go into this store let alone give it a great review but I was pleasantly surprised at the customer service. I took my (deceased) grandmothers diamond ring there hoping they would give me an idea of the value and any more information about it.
The employee I spoke to had a virtual encyclopedic knowledge of diamonds, gold, how they are made, their history, everything. There was no question they could not answer. I could have talked to him for an hour, it was fascinating. This was after a very good jeweler had looked at it. They gave me far more interesting and helpful information.

Had such a great experience here! I was in buying a gift and don’t know much about jewelry, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. They explained everything I was looking at, worked with me to stay in my budget and didn’t try to sell me up into something I couldn’t afford. I will definitely come back here for any jewelry shopping I plan to do in the future!

Much nicer stuff than any mall store or the diamond exchange of villa park. Prices are reasonable for such beautiful merchandise. If you dont see what you want, they can probably make it for you. I talked to Dave, he is great.

best quality, best prices, family operation — what more can you ask for? Stop going to the big chains, stop getting ripped off, take the time to make the drive and get what you are really looking for.
