Stopped in for a haircut today from Katherine… Lovely lady with wonderful and colorful stories about her kids after a long day at work. In and out quickly and very pleased. Both the folks that I met seemed so pleased to be there and proud of the business and it shows through.
I recommend highly for us guys and my wife was happy too.

I’ve been here on several occasions for a variety of services, all of which yielded great experiences. The facility is large and welcoming, clean, and comfortable. They have a cozy waiting area with refreshments, and a neatly organized arrangement of products the spa uses.
The pedicure room is clean, private & the chairs are comfortable. My only suggestion is to provide better lighting over the nail polish selection, as it’s hard to see the true colors in that room :)
The massage room is quiet, at the back of the spa, as to minimize disruption. Again, very clean and relaxing. Rachel is an EXCEPTIONAL massage therapist, who listens to your concerns and is happy to adjust her technique to ensure you’re comfortable.
My most recent experience was with Katherine, for a hair cut. I wanted a very different change from my usual hair style, so I brought in pictures of what I was looking for. She got it perfect the first time! I’m so happy! She was also able to educate me on my hair type & recommend specific care/​tips/​tricks.
Reception was welcoming and check-​in/​check-​out was quick and efficient. I highly recommend giving Sono Bella Spa a chance to fulfill all your personal care needs. The women are professional, friendly and caring.

I have never been a big massage guy… until now. I had been experiencing some shoulder pain since I started working out again so my wife suggested I book a therapeutic massage with Rachel at Sono Bella to work out some of my issues (I assume she meant the shoulder pain?). I took her advice but I was skeptical that it would help me because I had imagined that all Spa massages were gentle experiences designed mostly for relaxation and that’s not what I needed. It turns out that Rachel is an extremely knowledgeable and versatile masseuse who had no problem shifting gears from gentle into deep therapy mode when required. Rachel took the time to understand what I needed and got right to work and there is no question that she knew what she was doing, after the session she showed me some stretches to do at home and I have already noticed a reduction in pain and more flexibility. I highly recommend Rachel and Sono Bella

We went here before my wedding. My mother and two of my bridesmaids needed manicures, and pedicures. One thing I can immediately say is that they were very nice as soon as we walked through the door! They shared our excitement for the wedding and were overly accommodating! My mom even asked for a haircut and they did it beautifully! They did a wonderful job on my nails and my bridesmaids/​moms too!

I visited this Salon one Thursday in the fall of 2012 for an out-​of-​state wedding that weekend and it was a very pleasant, modern salon. I had a hair cut, color and a manicure with Rosanna, the owner. On a positive note, I will say the color was good, but the manicure was barely OK, and the cut, well that’s another matter. To make a long story short, I ended up returning to the salon that afternoon to have the cut fixed as it was very uneven. Rosanna was out running personal errands and I was delegated to the stylist who had phoned her. Well, that stylist overcorrected the cut, so now the other side was too long and uneven. Next Friday morning, I am able to speak with Rosanna who asks me to come in and that she will take care of me. When I arrive she knows I am NOT a happy camper, having to drive back and forth to her salon when I am trying to get ready for that wedding! I was floored when she asks me «so, what is your problem with the cut, what is it you are having difficulty with» ??? Was she kidding me, what is MY problem with the cut? Additionally the nail polish on three of my nails was streaking and coming off, and I ended up buying a bottle of that polish just in case. Let’s just say by the time I walked out, the cut was considerably shorter than I wanted, but more importantly, it was still not a precision cut. On a closing note, the very least Rosanna could have done is (1) apologize that I had to return to the salon yet again; (2) she could have said «that bottle of polish is on me»; and (3) she absolutely could have said something like «let me make this up to you, so your next hair color is on the salon as well». But she did none of those things! She did not make a single offer! That is not how an owner treats a client who had to go through what I did. And that is why I will never return.

I had my nails, hair, and makeup done here for a wedding and they did a great job! The staff is super friendly and wanted to make sure that our whole bridal party left the salon fully satisfied.

I went here for my birthday as a treat to myself and left beyond satisfied. I have been living in Dover for about seven months now and have driven on Weeks Lane to get to Target hundreds of times but I never noticed this little slice of heaven along the way. It’s right across from Chili’s. I came here because I got a gift certificate from my friends at work. Boy am I happy about that decision!
As soon as you walk in you are greeted by very nice and welcoming staff and feel relaxed almost immediately. They serve you drinks while you are waiting for your appointment; the orange water is so good, I could have drank a gallon of that stuff. They bring you to a different room away from the lobby where you sit, relax, and fill out some simple questionnaires. They provide you with robes and slippers too. Very nice people and not at all pretentious.
Now…for the good stuff. I started with a facial; the classic European. The woman performing my facial was very intelligent and explained everything she was doing and why. She was extremely nice and very good at her job. She even complimented me on my «tiny pores.» Highly recommend this! Next up was my massage.
.GOSH! I got the one hour hot stone massage and was NOT disappointed. Rachel is SO good at her job. She is very nice, nonjudgmental, and has a fantastic way of making you feel like a million bucks. I have never felt so relaxed in my life. Seriously. I almost fell asleep.
I will most definitely be back here for any spa services I will be partaking in in the future. Great prices, great staff who love their jobs, great atmosphere. What more could you want? Thank you Sono Bella for being so awesome.

As one of my ‘stay-​cation’ treats I made an appointment for my (19 year old) daughter and myself to each get a ‘relaxation massage’ at Sono Bella Salon.
We arrived on time for our 9:00am appointment, were greeted by a friendly receptionist, offered a beverage, and seated in the waiting area. It was 9:15 before she thought to give us clip boards with forms to collect our information. (I had begun to think she forgot about us). At about 9:20 my daughter went for her massage while I enjoyed catching up on reading in the comfortable waiting area to the sound of mellow jazz.
An hour later it was my turn. The young massage therapist (Rachel) was charming in a quiet way, and gave me a relaxing treatment (I especially liked the foot massage), though her touch was a bit too firm at times. My daughter reported that it was ‘the best massage she ever had.’ and enjoyed the sauna while waiting for me. It was a vacation treat that we’ll repeat!

Sono Bella is my new «go-​to» spa! Rosanna, the owner, is so friendly and welcoming! Its laid back yet still professional and spa like. Rachel gave me the best massage I have ever had (and I’ve had a lot of massages at fancy spas –like newbury street– that don’t compare to hers!). She has great technique! Prices are fab too! Will be back again and again and will be telling friends as well!!!

The facilities here are quite nice — elegant without being stuffy. The aesthetician was pleasant, but I felt as though my french manicure was just okay — not really worth the $ 30. The tips were slightly uneven and clumpy, and some of the polish was streaky. I usually do my own nails, but wanted to treat myself, thinking the result would be amazing, so maybe I was just expecting too much. Either way, I think I’ll just stick to home manicures in the future.

Have been to Sono Bella twice, and have had a massage and 2 pedicures. I love this place! The owner, as well as the staff that I have met are both professional and friendly, and the Spa is clean and tranquil. Looking forward to going there for a hair cut and color this week (while sipping a glass of wine) and I am confident that I will be just as happy with these results!

Sono Bella is a sophisticated but not stuffy salon and spa in Dover. The staff was very accomodating and pleasant. They offer a wide range of services and have honed in on what is important to their guests. The owner is so nice and has really created an elegant santuary in Week’s Crossing.
I used to travel to the Wingate or Adagio for spa services, but I will be bringing more of my business to Dover in the future.
