I’ve only been to the one in Rochester, but the service is second to none! Great atmosphere, tattoo shop in the back! Just a great place to have some manscaping done, you can be yourself and have a great haircut and fantastic shave! I have been here four times great experience every time.

Excellent cut, staff was friendly and patient with my lack of decisiveness. Definitely geared towards guys, which is great. Lines move quickly and there’s amenities to keep you busy if there’s a wait. I’ll be back!

Where man cave meets a real barber shop. Men get out of the ladies salon and check this place out. I tried to find a barber with skills near the shipyard and struck out. This is a barber shop with a pool table or heavy bag or great movie playing while you wait… And wait for it. The cut. I left this barber shop with a sharp looking fade and a crisp detailed finish on top. This barber knows how to use all of his tools: clippers, scissors, razor, styling products. Men of the Seacoast, this is your barbershop. And it’s open when you get off of work! Check it out.

This place is a total man cave — pool table, sports paraphernalia, big TV, even a punching bag. You’d think you were in a sports bar, not a barbershop, which is really cool. I went on a snow day in the middle of the week so there wasn’t much of a wait. Pleasant chat with the owner, good haircut, market price. I’ll go again.

Been coming in every 3 weeks for about a year now. Cuts, conversation both exceed expectations. Surprised with the negative reviews. Place has great hours and a comfy atmosphere.

Brought my son in yesterday for a haircut at the Rochester location and left super pleased. Rick took his time with my son’s cut, making sure my son was happy with it before we left. Very knowledgeable staff, friendly environment. This shop not only comes highly recommended by me, but my 15yr old son as well:)

One star because the guy was super nice and the place looks cool. I have a simple hair cut… buzzed all over with a ½ setting… but he still left small hairs sticking up. I also got a shave, sort of. Hairs still around my mouth and chin, not fully smooth anywhere else. No clean up of all the cut hairs all over(ears cheeks, etc). The barber needs to be much better trained… pure and simple. At least he did not try to charge full price for the combo deal(but I can’t keep quiet just because he did the right thing). Maybe the other barbers there are better, but I would not go back again.

They’ve done a nice job with the set up inside and the marketing. Unfortunately it ends there. The cuts are amateur(I simply get a #2 but I’ve witness some pretty weak attempts at other customers). Even my #2 they sometimes can be bothered with a straight razor for my neck other times I guess they’re feeling like I don’t deserve a complete cut. As for the lines — it’s not how great they are its the lack of decent barbers in the area. Lose the arrogance and treat customers like you depend on them because you do!

I have been getting my hair cut by these guys for a couple years now. Rick, Jermaine and Paulie are all very friendly and do a great job on your cut. The price is right and the haircuts a great. Sometimes there may be a line but, think about it, there is a reason. These guys do a good job and are friendly while your there.

We recently moved to the seacoast area from Boston, so finding a competant barber to keep my son’s hair looking nice has been on the ‘to do’ list. A friend who grew up locally recommended this establishment after hearing my plans to drive him to Boston for a cut ASAP. I called to ask about appointments and(knowing that many barbers in this area don’t get a lot of practice with this hair type) to make sure that they were confidant in their ability to cut my mixed race son’s Nigerian/Caucasion curls. I was assured that they were more than competant in their ability and that an appointment was not required. Today, after his football game and checking their website to make sure that we were within reasonable hours of operation for a walk-in visit(hours today were 10 – 2. We arrived at 12:30), we jumped in the car for the 20minute trek to trim up the fauxhawk that he had sported this summer(now badly overgrown). Perhaps I should have been deterred by the sign advising that I leash my children — but I generally find that brand of humor funny, so my son, 18 month old daughter and I got out first impression of the operation when we walked in to … A surly … Um, NON-greet. In the room facing the barber chairs were a few people waiting for cuts and there were two barbers cutting hair. As we entered, one of them finished with his customers and silently gave us an irritated up and down.(This was the one and only time we were EVER acknowledged) I am in the hospitality industry, so I am always shocked when businesses ignore the basic and easy step of a ‘greet’. … Even just a ‘hi, I’ll be right with you’ — although, in this case, there was a sign instructing us to take a number.(No ‘numbers’ were visible). I can follow directions, but the unwelcome feeling of clearly being noticed and not greeted — by even a nod or a smile — communicates in a very visceral way that today you do NOT want to grow your business. In this case, the look of irritation drove that point home. As I mentioned earlier, we had driven to Dover specifically for this cut, so I didn’t turn and leave immediately. Instead, I assumed(for lack of any other information) that we were expected to sit and wait for our turn so, we sat and watched. The two barbers worked furiously in front of the mirrors blasting through cuts in record speed. In the time we sat, they churned out several cuts — I saw a few promising crisp lines, but the multiple crooked fades and visible missed tufts were not what I had hoped to witness. All of the men who received cuts while we were there had straight, simple caucasian hair types. Sadly, I feel that they over-stated the skill of the cuts they perform. In hearing the payment transactions, however, I was kind of inspired. They must be making a killing on people who don’t want to travel. These 10 minute hack jobs(my opinion) were raking in nearly $ 40 each. As our turn(if it was, in fact first come/first served … We never found out) approached, I pulled up pictures on my phone of the $ 15 cut that my son had received two months ago in Jersey City.. Hoping to maybe be able to aim for something close to what we came for. As I left my chair, I heard the barber that had just finished his cut muttering something about how he hadn’t wanted to be there that day at all. Ignoring us as we stood watching, he swept up his station, walked past us without a word and left. The one barber that remained also did not say anything to us. I led my baffled child out of that MASSIVEFAIL with the promise of a trip to Boston. It may be a longer drive, but at least I know they want our business. I am disappointed that I must report back to my friend that he may not want to recommend this business to non-locals. I can only assume they treat familiar faces better.

Good atmosphere, free beer & cheap cuts. Brandon is hands down the best barber. He takes his time and he usually has a line but it’s worth the wait. If this place had two other barbers like Brandon it would be worthy of more stars.

I go here. There are 3 – 4 different people who work here. The only one I will let cut my hair and shave me is Brandon. He really takes his time, does a good job and he is pretty friendly. Cool atmosphere if you are a guy(pool table, TV/DVDs, magazines, punching bag, etc). Often you will have to wait so make sure you’re prepared to wait 25−60mins.

If you’re looking to be treated like a gentlemen paying for a service — look elsewhere. They’ll treat you to a cheap beer(if they haven’t run out), a lousy haircut, and an arrogant attitude I for one can do without.

Great marketing. Mediocre haircuts. Pretension so thick you can cut it with a pair of dull, filthy scissors.
