Great place to stay. It is a little old but clean. Staff is very friendly.

Bartender Liza was wonderful. We were in town for the NASCAR race and she steered us in the right direction. Restaurant recommendations were spot on. Hospitality at the Hilton bar great. My husband and his 92 year old father stayed here in room 320, a handicapped accessible junior suite. We booked the hotel even though we live locally because our house is not accessible and we wanted my father in law’s visit to be pleasant. Contrary to what we were told when booking it had only one bed and a pullout sofa. The sofa bed was not made. We tried to call the front desk but after 15 or 20 minutes gave up and I went down to the front desk. I asked for housekeeping to make the bed and was told they were gone for the day and given linens to make it myself. There was a walk in shower with grab bars, but no shower seat. Breakfast was over at 10 am and the restaurant closed. Room service did not pick up the phone. Not good value for the money. It was clean and the staff was friendly.

I recently stayed at this hotel because my wife and I were preparing for her to run her first marathon. When we called to confirm our room the front desk clerk made it her business to make sure we were in the system. Upon arriving, the front desk clerk was told of what we were doing there and she automatically put us in the farthest corner of the hotel to ensure we would have peace and quiet. The next morning my wife started her race at 7am at the Dover Speedway which is minutes from this hotel. After about 45 minutes after my wife took off I went back to the hotel to explore alittle. They had a very nice gym for someone who wants to get a good morning workout and next to it a indoor pool with a spa. I also found a business center which is where I spent most of my time while I waited on my wife to finish. Before going to the busineas center I went to the large open lobby and had breakfast. It was made to order. Whatever I wanted was at my fingertips. It was wonderful. After breakfast I asked the front desk clerk for more time so my wife could take a shower after running such a long race(26.2 miles). She said it would be her pleasure to allow me more time for that. So hours went by I picked my wife up and we went back to the hotel and when she walked in the people in the front applauded her. It made her feel so special and warm. I loved that moment for her also. In conclusion, I am a hilton Honors member and I say in Hiltons monthly nationwide and I would definitely recommend this place anybody who is looking the hilton stamp of approval. As a HHonors member, Hilton is where I like to stay. This hotel is nice and everything is in order as it should be. The location is convenient, right off of U.S.1 and Route 13. The staff members were amenable and efficient. Let me share a story. We were awoken to a fire alarm around 5:30AM on Thanksgiving morning! Apparently, too much smoke came out of the oven and set off the alarms. While sleepy patrons filed out in their pajamas and coats, there were no staff members to be seen, nor did a fire engine come to our rescue. We were standing outside waiting for instructions. Some of us got into our cars to get some heat. After about 20 minutes or so, an older lady came out with her walker. No sooner had she gotten into the car when a fire official drove up, went inside, gave the all clear and left. We started to file back in. Later, staff called each room to apologize but they did not offer free breakfast or anything else for our inconvenience. Fortunately for them, I love Hilton hotels and let it go. I was more concerned about the woman with the walker who had been greatly inconvenienced…

I often stay at this hotel when visiting Dover, DE. This hotel has impeccable customer service. I arrived here Friday afternoon after evacuating Atlantic City(Borgata) due to Hurricane Irene. I wasn’t ready to go home although the Hurricane was on its way. We went swimming in their indoor pool and relaxed in the jacuzzi. It was so relaxing and clean. The room is a basic room, but the bed was so comfortable. You can adjust the mattress to your level of comfort. The A/C worked well, a little too well. We had breakfast Saturday morning in the café that is off to the side of the lobby area. It was very good. I ordered an omelette with bacon, mushrooms, red peppers and onions with cheese with a side of hash browns. I also had a toasted bagel with cream cheese. It was very good. Our waitress was so sweet and professional. This hotel is nice and gives you a homelike feel. It is family friendly and all the kids there love the pool.
