I recently moved back to the east coast after spending a long time in California. The last car I bought was a wonderful car to drive… in California. After four years of skidding and sliding and praying whenever I had to drive in the snow, this year I decided to trade it in for an AWD Subaru Impreza. Naturally, before so much as one flake of snow falls, I am rear-​ended in an accident. I had no idea where to bring the car. Fortunately for me, the closest body shop approved by the insurance company is Colony Auto. I brought the car in and Charlie and everyone else at Colony were incredibly helpful. They made sure that I was treated fairly when it appeared that the insurance company’s estimate was incorrect and not fair to me. They did everything they could do to make it right. I had made a reservation with the rental company, they called the rental company and asked them to pick me up. How satisfied was I with their work? It was unbelievable. The car truly looked as if nothing had ever happened. Not only was all the damage repaired, but the car was cleaner than I ever remembered it being right down to the smell of the interior! Should I ever need any body work done or if someone I know does, I will recommend Colony Auto in a heartbeat! Yes, I know. It’s just a Subaru Impreza. But you know what? It’s MY SUBARU! The people at Colony know that and that is how they will treat your car.

I recently had to work with Colony Auto with an insurance claim to my car. The next day after filing my claim, Bernie, who I believe is the owner contacted me and explained pretty much everything that I needed to know on the process and promised to have my car picked up and have a quote within a few days (the day afterwards we were expecting over 2 feet of snow so this was no small feat.) he was very courteous and professional. The communication between the entire process was great, I was kept in the know of everything, he also gave me a few pieces of advice as far as my rental coverage with my insurance company. I truly feel that he wanted to be as helpful as possible. And I really needed help because I’ve never had to use my insurance before so I was clueless. He was very kind. He quoted that my car would be done on a certain day as long as the parts came in when expected (again, massive snow storms) and wouldn’t you know? My car was done right on time and it’s never looked as good as it does now since I got it brand new! I would highly recommend Colony Auto for anyone who needs body work done and if you want to work with professional, nice and genuine folks. I am so happy with the entire experience, which is saying a lot because insurance claims are not fun at all. They truly deserve 5 stars!
