Horrible, horrible, horrible!!! Experts at arriving 60 to 90 minutes LATE and NOTSHOWINGUPATALL! Look at all the terrible reviews on Unilocal before you use these indifferent, discourteous, confused fools! We are forced to suffer their awful service on a regular basis(30 to 35 trips per month) because another company sub-contracts them. In our particular case, there is an established 30 minute pick up window in the morning, but they are FREQUENTLY !!! 30, 60, even 90 minutes late – beyond the pick-up window! Afternoon return trips are worse! Last week they left our mentally disabled son standing alone in a wooded area on a high-speed road, unattended in the dark, because they arrived soooooo late(2 hours, 10 minutes after final pick up time), that the facility had closed(4PM), everyone had gone home, and these assholes still had not shown up even by 5PM for a 3PM reservation time. They told various lies along the way to different people who called: «we got lost, we had an accident, we’ll be there in a few minutes, we got lost but didn’t have an accident” – take your pick! UNRELIABLE, UNDERINVESTIGATIONBYMEDICARE. Dangerous fools! Avoid at all cost!

These people do not know how to drive. 1. I work in a public school and have seen them speeding into the parking lot one-way exit, and speeding out of the one-way entrance(both the wrong way) while children were walking into the school. 2. They sit outside places where they have to pick up people and blow the horn incessantly to get them to come out, no matter how early in the morning 3. My biggest problem is one of them rear-ended me and the driver acted so upset that I agreed not to call the police because they promised me that they could order me a new bumper and fix it at their shop. This was over three years ago, and despite many conversations with the office and the owner who remember the incident and continually promised to fix it, it never got fixed. In fact, Alex Acevedo the owner(once he got back from vacation) told me «I have hundreds of cars, I can’t pay attention to all of them.» I told him I only have one and it is a van I need to transport my daughter in a wheelchair. Too bad. Next time one of them hits me or does anything off I will call the police right away.

If I could give negative 1. I would. I am a bartender and have been waiting for them for an hour. When I called to say that I called another company they said ‘whatever’ and hung up. I would use elite limo over them any day

Im pretty sure this is the taxi service I used… it has the same name and is in Dover but the location I saw was on rt 46. Anyway, absolute worst service ever. I work with autistic clients and we use this car service to go to and from appointments. The other night we were dropped off at our appointment and no one came to get us. We called many times and they kept telling us «15 more minutes». Two and a half hours and many phone calls later someone finally showed up. Thank god my client was having a good day or things could have gone much worse. When the driver got there he told us that they didnt send anyone initially and didnt tell him until about an hour before to come get us… then he apparently forgot? Just wow, absolutely horrible. At least be honest and say no one is coming so we can attempt to arrange another ride.

Terrible taxi service. The communication is awful and just trying to arrange a ride is extremely stressful. They don’t ask for a callback number, so it’s really a crapshoot whether they’ll make it to pick you up or not. They were late, charged $ 12 for a 2 mile local trip, and had the audacity to tell me they were doing me a favor as they usually do not provide«local» service. Their business card advertises $ 10 rides from Dover to other towns. Avoid using this service at all costs. Someone seriously needs to open another local service so there’s more game in town than just these guys.

I called a day ahead and scheduled a car for pick-up at my residence. The next morning they were not at my home at the scheduled time. I called them after 15 minutes and they apologized for being late and said a car would be there right away. I was a little surprised that I had to call them and they didn’t take the initiative to call to say the car was delayed. Another 15 minutes lapsed and I called them again. This time they said that all the cars were busy and they would send one as soon as one was available. I was catching a train and it was inevitable that I would miss it. Finally, after calling them numerous times, the car arrived. It was 1.5 hours after the scheduled pick-up time. 1.5HRSLATEPICK-UP! Then they tried to charge me $ 30 more than the quoted price and made no effort to make amends for their mistake. I will never use City Limo and Taxi again and I don’t recommend them.
