I live within walking distance so I go to this location about once a year in hopes it gets better. It was good when it first opened but has been horrendous since. Well I went again today and honestly its the worst I have ever had. Ordered the spinach & artichoke dip as an appetizer but they had microwaved it so the cheese had separated and it ended up a blob of oil on top. My entrée was a philly brew pub sandwich which was a blob of some type of unknown meat with the same microwaved cheese which I found inedible. I got 4 onion rings with my meal which seemed to me a ripoff since I had to pay extra for them when I substituted the fries.
The staff never checked in on us while eating had to chase they down for a drink refill, the staff at the door did not welcome us, and they never stopped chatting to offer to get the door on the way out.
I do not believe I can give them another try in the future.

Great place for dinner after shopping or a movie very reasonable prices great food although if there is bad weather the directv might conk out. Good wifi here plus you can have a free cake on your birthday!!!

I’ve been a fan of Applebee’s since they used to serve apple pie a la mode. Unfortunately it was taken from the menu, after that, the desserts here just haven’t been the same. Tho I will try to keep that bias aside.
The service here, like most Applebee’s is good, though the food just seems average. The quality is great but one time I ordered a burger medium raw, & it was just raw. Even the waitress walked over and asked if it was ok. I turned it over & showed her then explained how it was a bit under cooked. She asked me if I wanted to return it. I thought, fuck it, I’m hungry I’ll just eat it anyways. She replied with I wouldn’t eat that… So after that I finished the damn thing & I felt like vampire. The next day my stomach was fine, a word of advice just ask for well done.

Absolute worst service has come from this specific location. Drinks from the bar has taken over 20 minutes at least 4 or 5 times that I have been here. Not even exaggerating. Its not the servers fault, but the bartenders 90% of the time. One time our server cursed at us for seriously no reason. Your lucky if a server greets you within the first 15 minutes you are there. Food is the same as all of the other Applebee’s, but I would not recommend this location. Drive an extra 15 minutes and go to the one in mt olive.
