I have no clue whatsoever how someone can say that the pizza is good??? 1st of all its obvious that it’s a pre made frozen crust. I wanted a sausage & «Fresh Garlic» pizza. I asked the girl who took my order if she knew if the garlic was fresh she said she didn’t know so I said forget the garlic. She then said that the cook is right here let me ask him I said ok I heard him in the background say that the garlic is fresh. The last thing that I wanted was that crappy finely chopped jarred garlic on my pizza I would have chopped my own and put it on when I got home. Sure enough it was the crappy jarred garlic which is the absolute worst ever. It’s not the girls fault that answer the phone with the cook who could barely speak English that lied to her I called back and spoke with him personally and it took me 3 — 4 minutes to get him to admit that it wasn’t fresh garlic but the charge. Then I said to him I wouldn’t of got it on there I would have done it myself. Disappointment will never go there again for pizza or anything else I will drive the extra 20 to 30 minutes to get something at least halfway decent I mean how hard is it to make pizza dough and to chop a few cloves of garlic!!!

I was charged alittle over $ 18 for a large Greek salad with chicken. Chicken was fresh but the salad was nothing special, only used iceberg lettuce, which I usually don’t mind but if you’re going to charge that much money for a salad, at least make it worth it. I could’ve bought salad ingredients and made a salad for the whole week for that price.

The scampi supreme for almost $ 20 is not a scampi sauce. It’s oil and that’s it. It does not taste like scampi at all nor to garlic for that matter. To make things worst the shrimp its extremely overcooked.

Called ahead for two large and a medium. Ready when got there. All was good. Meat lovers was favorite. Their Woodbridge wine was way overpriced.

$ 82 for three pizzas and a salad not lined in gold and covered in jewels is a bit much.

I use to love this place. I would go here whenever the place I was working at decided to serve liver and onions. Great tasting thin crust.

Really fantastic! And that’s said by a New Yorker. The girls and I stopped off for a late night lunch on our way up to the Berkshires, and were not at all disappointed. The salad was fresh and quite big. The pizza. now how do I describe the pizza. WASGIGANTIC! Holy Moly! We truly were not expected a pizza that large. We ordered a pizza that would be slightly bigger so we could save it for tomorrow’s breakfast, but that was enough to feed a family of 8. My goodness. Besides the fact that the pizza was so big, it was very delicious with a pleasant crust, and ample fresh veggie toppings. It was really fantastic and just what the doctor ordered. I highly recommend!

A great spot for lunch. Al fresca area is nice. We usually have pizza — I haven’t tried anything else. It’s that good. Pizza is crispy, hot and with fresh ingredients. Wait staff is friendly and helpful.

The food here is excellent. The pizza is good — fresh ingredients, the crust is good, crispy, not soggy. The greek salad is outstanding, with good ingedients, and great dressing. The only issue is that the service is often bad. The waitstaff can be inattentive, and not focused on the customer.

Dover Plains isn’t home to many decent restaurants. You could, in all likelihood, count the number of good places to eat out in Dover on one hand(maybe a half a hand). That said, it’s a good thing that Four Brothers is among them. First of all, the owner, George, is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I know him only by coming in to his restaurant, but even so, I consider him a friend. He has made me, my friends, and my family all feel welcome in his restaurant time and time again. The place wouldn’t be the same without him, and I look forward to chatting with the guy every time I eat here. There’s a lot to be said for someone who treats their customers so well. That being said, none of this would mean anything if the food wasn’t good, but it definitely is. The pizza is unique, with a «Grecian touch,» as they advertise. The crust is thick and fluffy, the cheese is lightly browned, the toppings are never lacking and the flavors are always excellent. There’s no pizza I’ve had yet that tastes quite like the pizza from Four Brothers, and now that I’ve been living in Manhattan for a year and a half(most of which was spent living in Little Italy) I still miss it. Their other foods are also well done. The gyros are good and are always stuffed with more than enough sauce and toppings, and their standard fare like mozzarella sticks or chicken fingers are consistently solid. Their personal pita pies are great for when just one person at the table needs a pizza fix(I’ve ordered them several times), and the salads are always large and loaded up with ingredients. The interior of the restaurant is pleasant, with comfortable booths for smaller groups and large tables in the center for big ones. You never feel like you’re hanging out to dry regardless of where you sit; it’s a cozy and comforting atmosphere. The lights aren’t too bright and the floors and tables are always clean. It’s a great place for a casual dinner out. Four Brothers sometimes feels like the only hometown restaurant I’d bring someone from out of town to for a solid, affordable dinner, and I am really glad that it’s still around even though I’m no longer living nearby. Good food, a really friendly staff, a clean interior, and prices that I can be comfortable with. Good stuff!
