Just moving to the area one thing I am looking for is a great butcher. I think I have been very spoiled by the one I used to go to in MA and have high expectations for other butcher shops. I visited here today and picked up some pork chops and a pork butt as there were the only things that appeared to be fresh. For a butcher shop I was surprised to see the number of freezers and food vacuum sealed in the coolers. The beef did not look like it does in the photos, it looked brown and old and the stuff in the freezers looked freezer burned. Really disappointed since I drove 45 minutes to check this place out.

I have had brisket sandwiches many places but this has got to be one of the best I have ever had. Brisket is delicious just enough fat full of flavor meat just falling out of the bun. Absolute perfection. Worth the drive from North Carolina just to get the sandwich.

This place is awesome, the specials are a great deal and the customer service can’t be beat. We get organic ribeyes, pork chops, burgers and chicken from here, always amazing flavor and very healthy looking meats. They also have veggies from local farms to make it a one stop shop. As a bonus, it smells like smoked brisket in the shop. They also have a huge selection of jerky and even natural treats for for your furry puppy friends at home.

Owner is super friendly and nice. Their selection of sausage is huge! Steaks and brisket is of decent sizes. Plenty of grab and go things to choose from. If you are wondering why only 4 stars, well on the their web page its says there is a chef that worked in new orleans and he cooks gumbo and other cajun dishes. Well the gumbo is the worse ever. They didnt even use andouille sausage… Besides that– for all your meat needs, this is the place!

It’s a must stop if you love steak they have the best… the sausage is fantastic too… friendly help and the owner is super nice too… oh and make sure you try the jerky…

Get it and you can thank me later. This stuff ROCKS. Don’t let the name scare you. It has a kick, but it’s not unbearable.
