horrible place over-priced for no damn reason. I did my hair for a whole lot cheaper and it looked twice as good in the previous salons I’ve been too. had an appointment and the lady wasn’t even there on time. when she got there she asked me if I could stay in the salon so she could drop her daughter off at work. I was the only person in the salon when she left to drop her daughter off. when she came back, she came back with her AND her daughter talking about her fucking daughter just needed her paycheck and it wasn’t time for her to clock in yet. wtf?! And when she was doing my hair(i’m natural) she made no effort to detangle my hair GENTLY. she pulled on my head like I was a damn doll. After I was done with my hair not only did she fucking over charge me the bitch had the audacity to ask me to take her fucking daughter to work? really now. I REPEATDON’T GOTOTHISSALONEVER. STAYTHEFUCKAWAYFROMTHESEPEOPLE!!!

I don’t love the salon more than I do my hair dresser — I have followed her from 3 other salons. She is phenomenal! I have done ever genre of hair you can think of and Sharlet has been there with me every step of the way. D&R Hair Gallery is an awesome place! They greet and speak to every one who comes in and they have someone who can do whatever it is you fancy… weave, braids, twist, natural hair, color, cut, etc… They also have a spa and use a steam hair dryer(so much more healthy for my natural hair)!! I feel so special when I walk in there. It doesn’t matter how long I wait in between visits they remember me by name and ask about my children. Did I mention the FOOD? They supply food for almost every holiday(FREE of CHARGE) If you want someone who sincerely cares about you and your hair GO to D&R Hair Gallery and ask for Sharlet(Tell her Ja’ sent you)

Horrible place. All the women are lazy. They let their kids and friends go before paying customers. I walked out after sitting for 45 minutes without one person asking if I needed help. Not only did I witness a woman take a break from fixing someone’s hair, but she proceeded to have a soda and tell her client it would«be a minute» before she would start again. I understand that every job is different and there’s a certain amount of labor and strength that goes into doing such said task, but if she laid off of the soda I’m sure she would be able to get a lot more work done. Try water, better service, and just maybe you’ll get more business.
