We ate here two nights in a row while staying at the Indian Creek Lodge on a steelhead fishing trip. The lamb portion is small but delicious. Yes, it should be bigger. But the service and wine list are unparalleled in the Trinity River area so I think I will be back. The stuffed mushrooms are good, as are the crab cakes and pork spring rolls.

I have been fishing the Trinity for 20 years and stay at the Indian Creek lodge several times a year. We have been asking the owners to put in a restaurant so we wouldn’t always have to drive to Weaverville or Lewiston. Now we have one of the best dining experiences in the area. I have dined at the café twice now and have been thoroughly satisfied both times. I have had the spaghetti Bolognese and the crab cakes and both were outstanding. Service is friendly and attentive. The Caesar salad could be a little bigger and don’t sit close to the front door on a chilly evening. Make sure to make reservations on Friday and Saturday nigh because the café fills up fast. With this new dining addition, you don’t need to drive to Weaverville or Lewiston anymore. Well at least not until La Grange reopens.

We had breakfast at 9:00am on Saturday and the place had already cleared out of fishermen. No problem getting a table. Excellent breakfast — I had the kale, mushroom, mozzarella omelet with potatoes and a side of sausage. HAVETHESAUSAGE — it’s amazing! The chef smokes the pork himself and the sausage patties taste like it. They actually taste like pork instead of mostly salt and fat like the average pork sausages. He clearly knows what he’s doing — the omelet was perfectly, classically cooked. I took one star off because my toast was cold and slightly burnt, but no big deal. I should have mentioned it when I was there, but enjoyed my food so much I didn’t even think about it until later.

Excellent, by far the best in the Weaverville area! I had the beet salad and the steak with capers. They also have a fairly extensive beer and wine list. Service was very good and friendly.

I’ve now eaten here a few times & I can say it’s very good. For the area– its outstanding! Although I wish they would bring back the fried artichokes I do respect the changing menu. I’ve had the spinach and artichoke dip, garlic bread, sausage & peppers, the shrimp & taters(spicy) and the chicken and artichoke– all very solid dishes. Tasty and filling which perfect after a long day on the river. I also like their wine & beer list. The service is top notch!!! It’s usually busy so best to make a reservation.

A special place nestled along 299 and the Trinity river. The service and atmosphere were spot on. Good Wine and Beer selection also. Fellow diners enjoyed pasta and Chicken & Awaffel. Will defiantly go again.

Yes yes yes please! I am a New Yorker who had lived in trinity county now for 4 years. It has been painful to see so many decent restaurants close, leaving few options for a nice meal out. My friend told me that Indian Creek Lodge has an amazing brunch. I cannot believe it took me this long to eat there! I went with a group of friends this weekend for Sunday brunch. We started with the Mocha balls… These are like little fried pieces of joy. I could’ve eaten 10 of these by myself. We also fell in love with the Mac and cheese made with caramelized onions, bacon and fresh herbs. I would come back just for this dish. The problem really was that everything on the menu looked delicious. Wished I could’ve ordered more! I will be frequenting this delicious spot!

Absolutely amazing! Loved the food, friendliness of the staff and the setting! In Weaverville for a family visit and we went here 2 days in a row! The Macaroni and Cheese was a favorite but so was everything else we had! We appreciate that there is more than one vegetarian option on the menu! If you are in the area definitely go to this café!!!

Looking for someplace new in Weaverville and found this. Worth the 10 minute trip. We had excellent pork sandwiches for lunch. The fries were special. Check the hours before you go — they’re closed M-T and W dark for dinner.

I just had brunch here with some locals who have been telling me about this place and the new chef for months now. The food and service definitely lived up to my expectations. I would describe the menu as modern American, lots of locally sourced ingredients. I had a great omelette with the best home fries I have ever eaten. The pancakes looked mouth watering. There were some creative items, too, like a Benedict option with trout I want to try.
