Slowly but surely. Our doors were fixed. They now stay closed. Our exterior doors were lined so we can’t see out of the cracks anymore. OUR broken bug filled window was replaced as was our fridge & water heater! Our water heat looks ridiculous because they didn’t bother to place in the previous location. It’s filthy and the wall is not painted where the other one had been. It wouldn’t bother us if it wasn’t in our laundry room where we’d like things to feel clean. Gutters were added above doors and the porch! Even though we hate where the drains are placed in front of the house instead of to the side.
Now if only we didn’t have mold growing in our shower & under our sink due to awful ventilation & poor plumbing. And every time I cook the kitchen fills with smoke because there is no overhead on the stove. Say what.
Side note. WE LOVE OUR LANDLORD. This does not reflect on him at all!!!

Assisted girlfriend with her rental issues. Abysmal maintenance. Ended up repairing most issues ourselves. Waited 8 plus weeks for several torn window screens to be repaired. Carpets nasty from previous pet owners. We cleaned ourselves twice. Outlets loose from wall, heat pump air handler fan shook cabinet doors in kitchen (removed blower and washed out blower packed with cat hair and dust). Dishwasher never filled properly (water solenoid valve half clogged). Microwave fan screamed very loud at all settings (found exhaust damper blocked by flawed vent install). Master bath tub faucet had wrong (off balance) knob and wouldn’t stay in set position. 6 inches of side walk sod overgrowth from years of no edging. Main bath Mansfield toilet ran continually. Replaced broken patio lamp fixture. All these items we fixed ourselves because maintenance was a wasted call.

Renting here is good only for fuel to motivate yourself on building your own house. They should change their name to BAD-​Dream property’s!

For those of you moving to Alabama from out of state, find someone else to help you find a rental.
This is one of those companies that ignore basic tenant laws, does it the Bama way and generally causes way more problems than help.
