Brookmeade Sod is great!
We bought sod «plugs» from them in previous years and are doing so this year. For people like us, who don’t want to spend money on a instant yard, you can buy plugs which will eventually grow together to make a yard. We are doing ours in stages.
Anyway, enough about us… back to Brookmeade. The staff is VERY knowledgeable and will help you select the best grass for your area/​needs/​etc. They are also super friendly and nice. I highly recommend Brookmeade. It is also in a beautiful area north of Richmond, so it makes for a nice drive.
