I have a hard time finding love for my locks(that constantly need lovin’). My thick head of hair isn’t easily tamed. That is, until my friend referred me to Jackie– one of the awesome stylists who now works at the Village Touch in Adams Village. This place is a classic, loud barbershop style joint– so if you are looking for the spa-like quiet and a moment of serenity, you«ain’t» gonna find it here! Nope! But you will get awesome haircuts, colors and styles by some pretty awesome ladies! They have fair prices, and they only accept cash(credit card machine is always«broken»), but hey, I can’t complain. I love the Village Touch and my awesomely talented stylist!

Yay! I get to be the 1st reviewer of this hair salon. I have been going to ‘The Village Touch” for a couple years now basically because my hairdresser moved from one shop to this one. This shop is quaint. The owner is somewhat loud but she is very nice. The place is always busy and it’s in a great location parking can sometimes be an issue right on Adams street but you can park around the corner in the lot. Prices are fair too. Now a shout out to my hairdresser! If you visit«The Village Touch» you have to request for Joanie. She gets a five star rating in my book. She has done my hair for years and I always get tons of compliments when I get it done. I have never been that type of girl to follow a hairdresser but this is how good Joanie is. I’m sure the other hairdressers are equally as awesome but I am not willing to chance it. 2 thumbs up overall.
