I love Streamline antiques. Lynda has a great collection of mid century Christmas ornaments– I bought some of those kitschy white plastic deer here and she has so many other cute and unusual figures. Jewelry is her specialty and recently I saw some clothes there that she had just scored from an estate and they were fabulous! There’s not too many antique stores surviving these days so please go here and keep this little gem of a store going! Great Midcentury everything! Worth the trip to Dot!

I this this place is so cute and charming. I am a fan of anything antique and vintage. The space is quite small, and there is a lot of things jammed in, but its like digging for gold… well not quite, because you don’t have to dig long before you find things. The people that work there are friendly. I was left to take my time and ohhh and ahhh over all the old nick knacks and such. There was a back room which I loved that had hats and clothing. I made out pretty good finding some jewelry and some vintage kitchen/bar appliances. This place is a plus that its in my neighborhood and I don’t have to go far. Just the idea of some of these things were occupied during a different time when things were quite different fascinates me. Its like walking in a time machine, and I don’t want to come back to the future.

Great little shop. I always find half a dozen things are really, really need when I stop in. There’s a cool collection of vintage buttons, some great barware. Got my boyfriend a nice shirt here. Friendly staff who really seem to care about encouraging other local businesses. Great place to browse for vintage and antique jewelry, housewares, and clothes.

Fiestaware? Vintage hats? Bar sets? Walking into this cute little shop was like walking into my grandmother’s beach house kitchen, with kitschy bar and kitchenware. The jewelry showcases a variety of bakelite and costume jewelry. The clothes are worth looking over; there are some great dresses and men’s shirts. There’s a little bit of everything in here, including bags, scarves, buttons, books, hand-tinted postcards.

I live across the street and am addicted to the iced mochas from Flat Black next door, so of course I’m in here at least once every two weeks. I’m a sucker for home goods, which they have an eclectic selection of, but I can’t help but browse through the jewelry and clothes every time I’m there as well. The owner(I’m assuming — she’s the same woman every time I’m there) is very friendly and I love the relaxed chat I have with her when I’m in there. Sometimes I’m not really feeling chatty, and she’s good at picking up on it and letting me browse in peace.

This place is actually in Dorchester. Their website is: Cute vintage clutches, lots of purses that close medicine bag style, big plastic bracelets, and ravishing clip on earrings. Near the Milton town line, the space that this store occupies is well… different. From the front façade Streamline appears very unassuming. The inside in so crowded with baubles and knick knacks it overwhelms you. Then you realize that there is a back room– with even more treasures in it! Yes, there is even the kitchen sink! It remains on the wall of this shop that was once someone’s home. If you’re a Red Hat Lady this place might be worth hitting up. The clothing selection is small, however I didn’t give it a thorough once over. Prices are very nice here, $ 20 should get you a couple of pretty little things.
