Food $ 9 for beef noodle soup. Tasty broth and ok portion of beef. The beef was tender and delicious. It was really just beef and noodles and broth. The quality was decent but the price was kind of high for what I was expecting. The menu is massive so I only went with this because of a friend’s recommendation. Décor It’s a food court. Service No issues. Would I come here again? Probably. It’s convenient when I’m doing some grocery shopping. I wouldn’t come out of my way to come here.

It was a cheaply made cafeteria food. The plates were the elementary school style plastic ones. The food was not fancy or anything special. It wasn’t terrible. Just something to eat. I got the curry chicken bento, which comes with rice, canned diced pineapple pieces(about 5), about 5 strings of bok choi, and an egg roll for $ 8. It’s just average food and you get what you pay for so just know what your’e walking into.

Phở is plan. Don’t come here if you want phở. If you’re into the phở broth then you will be disappointed. Broth is spicy with no flavor.

I had never visited a Super H mart before. And a friend dragged me here one day for lunch. I had heard about the«food court» but was surprised(though I shouldn’t have been) by the presence of separate business entities serving food within a larger supermarket. And I must say, the food we had was pretty darned good. I can’t remember where my friend went for his food, but T1 had steamed dumplings, and I started with that. These were a total crowd-pleaser. Steamed just right. The pork filling exactly what you’d expect from such a place. And my Orange Chicken entrée was delicious. Fresh orange incorporated right into that dish. I’m getting hungry just thinking abou tit. Service was average for a food counter. And that’s not a bad thing. It’s clear they are making things fresh as they are ordered. So don’t expect«fast food» turnaround times. Waiting a few minutes for your food will be well worth it. I’ll be returning here for more. Holler if you’re coming with.

This is a food court restaurant inside of the Doraville H-Mart that I’ve periodically ordered from while I was grocery shopping. Their food really is a hit or miss depending on what you ordered. The fried noodles are tasty, but overly greasy as are the stir-fries. I have had the misfortune of ordering their banh mi before, and it was so disgusting and flavor lacking that I was truly upset. For those who are familiar with banh mi, it should be a stuffed sandwich filled with fresh veggies and your choice of meat(grilled pork or pâté combo). My grilled pork banh mi had a very small and tough piece of bbq pork, 2 small wilted pieces of cucumbers and a sprig of cilantro — overall, a WTF prepared sandwich. The other day, my brother and I decided on grabbing some fried dumplings to nibble on after our shopping. The dough that they use is pretty tough and the filling not seasoned well which left you with a taste of eh, what was that? I ate 2 before I gave up.

T1 Bento & Grill is located in the food court of the Super H Mart in Doraville. This food court eatery serves a grab bag of Asian food: Chinese Cantonese, Malaysian, and Vietnamese(phở and banh mi). The menu is massive and looks more and more disorganized each time I pass by it, after checking out of the grocery store at H Mart. It looks disorganized because they keep adding onto and changing the menu. The good thing about the menu is almost every item is accompanied with a picture. The bad thing about the menu is the aforementioned disorganization and«cutting and pasting» of item descriptions and prices. It can be overwhelming for the first-time customer. With that said, the food here is affordable. Most entrees are less than $ 7.00. Good deal. I assume this is a Chinese(maybe Malaysian-Chinese) owned and operated business. In other words, Vietnamese food is most likely not their forte. Either way, I still ventured to try their phở. Here are two dishes I’ve tried from this place: Basil chicken($ 6.99) Beef combination phở($ 5.99) The portion size for the basil chicken was very generous. There was a lot of steamed, almost-too-wet white rice, topped with plenty of vegetables, a bit of chicken, and tons of sauce. Vegetables included, but were not limited to, green beans, onions, basil, green bell pepper, carrots, and zucchini. The chunks of chicken were tender, «fresh,» and flavorful enough. At best, this entrée was satisfactory. More chicken, less sauce, and less watery rice would’ve been nice. I wasn’t expecting, nor should you, a Buford Highway or Gwinnett County phở dac biet(special combination phở) out of T1 Bento’s beef combination phở. However, I was still curious to try their phở since«Phở & Noodles» is displayed so prominently on their storefront. T1’s beef combination phở amounts to a medium-sized bowl of phở that includes beef meatballs and thin slices of ribeye accompanied with onion, cilantro, 2 – 3 slices of jalapeño, and a wedge of lime. The broth was murky and sweet. I thought it was weird I had to eat this bowl of phở with cheap disposable wooden chopsticks and a flimsy plastic spoon. I also thought it was weird that this bowl was not accompanied with the usual phở sides(e.g. basil, culantro, bean sprouts, etc.). Rather, everything you need is already in the bowl. No Hoisin sauce either, but they do have Sriracha behind the counter which you may request. With the phở, pretty much what I saw was what I got. My advice: go to one of the standalone phở restaurants on Buford Highway if you want a real bowl of phở. As far as service for this place, there isn’t much to speak of, since you order and pick up your food at the counter. I will say that I’m surprised at how fast the food comes out from the kitchen from this little shop. Free water is available from the communal dispensers. You can request(tiny) Styrofoam cups from any of the food court businesses. Overall, I wouldn’t consider T1 Bento & Grill fantastic, but it works if you’re in a pinch or too lazy to go anywhere else. It’s neither significantly better nor worse than its neighbors in the same food court.

Basil Ho Fun all the way! Every single time that I get this, it’s consistently good. The noodles are cooked just right, the basil flavor is awesome. Their portions are HUGE for what you’re paying(can have it over two meals). I’ve also tried the Pad Thai which was decent — and portions huge, might I mention? While I want to be adventurous, I can’t help but stick to the Chicken/Beef Basil Ho Fun. Wait a sec! I remember the other plates, chicken basil plate was also good(similar to the ho fun except no noodles, right?). I will update this once I’ve ventured out to some of the others!

By far the best restaurant inside H-Mart. Almost everything tastes great AND reasonably priced. Always enjoyed being there. Really authentic taste. Mmmm… good :)

Had phở and vietnamese vermicelli with grilled pork and«egg roll.» Phở was misleading because it was as if I bought an instant package of instant phở and cooked it with boiled water. The vermicelli grilled pork was chewy and the use of vinegar was overpowering. It was more like vermicelli infused with vinegar and bits of chewy meat and here and there mints. The eggroll was filled with cabbage. Rule of thumb, it is very risky to order ethnic foods prepared by someone else who clearly never ever tasted what proper Vietnamese food suppose to be.

I know this sounds like a diss but it’s really a compliment — This place is the only choice if you’re eating in the Doraville H-Mart food court. I have ordered a wide variety of items on the menu and I have only regretted a few. My favorite is the mango fish, with ample portions of meat delicately breaded, served with equally liberal portions of mango and bell peppers.(I have ordered that dish so much that when the owner sees me approaching, she goes ahead to shout out the order to the cook.) Their duck soup is also good, as is the pad thai and basil ho fun. Lastly, all this is provided at a very competitive value, which is hard to do in an area full of good values. A very satisfying four stars.

For a food court restaurant, this place rocks. I usually order their Basil Ho-Fun(flat rice noodles), which is super tasty(probably because of MSG) even though they use chicken breast meat. It used to be just $ 5.99/plate, which made it a great deal– but after going again this weekend, I saw that they raised it to $ 6.99. Oh well. Still good. I tried their Mango Fish– while it can be a tad on the sweet side(due to the sauce), the fried fish filets were done perfectly– crispy breading, soft and flaky fish on the inside. Definitely worth a shot when you’re shopping at H-Mart.

If a genie in a bottle gave me three wishes, one might be be for world peace, but one would DEFINITELY have to be that T1 Bento would open it’s doors as a full service restaurant! Located in the Doraville HMart, this food court restaurant serves Hong Kong Chinese cuisine, but also Thai, and Vietnamese. In typical food court fashion there are pictures all around, a few handwritten signs, and enough choices to keep you looking, and telling the person behind you to go ahead in front of you and order. The owner is always at the counter and quick to give a recommendation. Food is out fast and hot. I have never been let down eating here. Good place to spend your lunch money! I would love to see this business expanded. Besides, peace is overrated.
