«Well if I haven’t heard of it, then we probably dont carry it.» End of conversation. What great service you offer.

Love the hardware side. Anything you could ask for with extremely friendly service. The lawn tool side needs some work. Overpriced with VERY unfriendly service.

Not open on Saturday? What? That could be half your business? Thanks, but went elsewhere.

Great place to get hard to find fasteners and good quality lawn power equipment. Higher cost than the big box but I am okay with that due to experience of sales folks on the floor. However, the repair shop is woefully inadequate. Paid $ 135 to have the carburetor on my Stilhl blower replaced to correct a stumbling problem. For another $ 265 I could have bought a new blower. Traded it to a friend for tree removal services and it continued to run poorly. He paid to have the coil replaced and it now runs great. Howard’s repair shop is more like a part replacement shop than a diagnostic and repair shop. Be forewarned of having your equipment repaired here.

They have just about everything you need in a hardware store but without the hassle of going to HomeDepot or Lowes. Always friendly service and can get my propane tank refilled quickly for my grill!

I carried in a small garden tiller for repair. They provided in writing that an estimate was to be provided in 10 days. They called in 14 days and said they had been unable to reach me even though I had no calls or voice mails. They advised that it would require a new carburater and the repair cost would be $ 175.00 including a tune up. New carb cost is $ 50.00 for the part. I would have paid another 50 for labor and tune. However, $ 175.00 was not feasible less than a month before Christmas. I went to retrieve it and was charged $ 36.00 for an inspection fee and the carburator was disasembled and taped to the unit in a plastic bag. I asked if the $ 36.00 fee could be applied to the repairs if I brought it back after the Holidays? They apologized and said no that it couldn’t. I am quite dissatisfied given that I have purchased lawn blowers, edgers, chansaws and etc. from this retailer and they have my purchases on record. Needless to say, I will find another business for my outdoor equipment needs. In all fairness, they were never rude or disrespectful and they have a good selection of merchandise.
