The only reason I’m giving one star is because I’m forced to. My office orders from here regularly as it is nearby and convenient however they really screwed up this time. They’ve raised their prices which is fine, I understand, but they have not raised the quality. We ordered a croqueta preparada and it was horrible. Half the sandwich didn’t have croqueta and literally had the tiniest piece of ham. When I called to complain I was given attitude and put on hold. I wanted to prove a point so I drove over there. I paid $ 6.95 for a sandwich that was worth maybe $ 3. I was given attitude again and was told that it did have two croquetas after she moved over one croqueta to the other side of the sandwich and then showed me. What a slap in the face!!! Now I know why this place is so empty. They used to be so packed the parking was a nightmare. Our office is done with this place. Brunos Café, and Lago Café are much better!

Food is awesome but delivery is horrible. I’m located a block away and they took 1 hour and 20 to deliver breakfast.

This place is great! The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly, even the cook, who suggested the«Miami» sandwich, was very friendly. I will definitely come back again next time I’m in Miami.

People remember before leaving a review that this place is more a CAFETERIA than a RESTAURANT, so you will not see all the fancy stuff you see on other places like Red Lobster, Outback, etc

The place is a little gloomy-looking. If you can get past that and try the food, it’s actually pretty good. They have good sandwiches, I especially like their frita burger. Service is alright, nothing extraordinary. They deliver which is nice too. It’s cheap and tasty for a quick lunch if you work in the Doral area.

Stopped by on 23 April but the lights were off and nobody was home. Looks like they went out of business.

Delicious sandwiches, I had the media noche and the boy got pan con bistec and they were both delicious. The cortadito I got was pretty good too!

My boyfriend and I were in the Miami area and really wanted to try a Cuban sandwich. We found this place on Unilocal and decided to check it out. Good thing we did because the food was BOMBBBBBBB. The boyfriend ordered a Cuban Sandwich and I opted for the Miami Sandwich, which they said is one of their most popular menu items. We also ordered some chicken soup. My Miami Sandwich was really good. I could tell that it was carefully constructed with simple and fresh ingredients. It was presented with some steak frites, which I thought was okay. The chicken soup was delicious as well. There were chunks of carrot and squash in it. My only complain is that there was fragments of chicken leftovers that I would’ve personally removed the soup before serving it to customers(e.g. small bones with no meat on them and also dried yellow skin that you usually find and should remove from the chicken feet or drumstick). But the flavor was there so no complains. My boyfriend really enjoyed his Cuban Sandwich. Our total came out to about $ 20.00 and we had a lot leftover. They give really large portions! Final Verdict: Yes I would come here again.

Lunch Break is relatively good, cheap, and fast with decent portions. The food is Latin/Cuban and is typical of the many Cuban cafes that abound in MIA. They have an extensive selection of standard meals, as well as a cafeteria style hot food section where you can choose from pork, beef, or chicken, with a few sides for $ 7-$ 8. They open early for breakfast, and serve up a big Cuban/American style breakfast called the«Desayuno Especial» which includes two eggs, a pile of bacon, Cuban toast, french fries, and a Café Con Leche — for $ 7. The pulled pork sandwich special is $ 6 on Fridays, and comes with plantain chips w/sauce, and a can of soda.

In my opinion Lunch Break makes one of the best croqetta preparada in Miami. This place has been open for a very long time. And since it had been open it has remained extra clean. Usually these Latin restaurants get a little dirty over the years, which is kind of gross. Not Lunch Break they are squeaky clean. If you go I recommend their breakfast, or their sandwiches.

Have you ever walked into an establishment and just felt that, «it makes sense» feeling? If not, check this place out. Nothing fancy except for the two elevated LCD screens usually showing Shakira or other Spanish contemporary concerts. You walk up to the counter, look above at the illustrated traditional Cuban main stays, Cuban Sandwich, Media noches, bistec de pollo, and a series of daily specials that are usually under $ 10. The genuinely friendly regular staff greets with smile and looks you in the eye. Order your meal, come back, pick it up, pay before leaving and all under 30 minutes. Parking on the trecherous side in the tight strip mall layout. I have visited the place for«lunch» and«breakfast»($ 4) multiple times it never fails to satisfy. Again, under $ 10. Total package, good fresh food, well seasoned, ample portions, friendly staff. Enjoy!
