I found this place through the handy Unilocal mobile app, and the knots in my shoulder convinced me to come. I allowed my contract with a massage chain to lapse after a couple of not so pleasant experiences but was due a massage after a busy month at the office. As it were I was at work in the morning before coming in! As the other review said, its located in a Doral office park inside a chiropractor office. I came in, filled some paperwork and received a great massage from Marie. She took the time to ask where I was sore, if I was allergic to any of the oils and just help my body and mind to unwind. Yes, I ended up dozing off! After a FULL hour I got up feeling more very much relaxed and energized, getting a great massage for a reasonable price. I was also mentioned some of the other services they provide such as acupuncture(though knowing me and needles I’ll pass on that :) Besides a great massage, they get an extra star for something unrelated. The glass repair tech ended up meeting me here, and they were patient enough to allow me to meet with him and explain the condition without penalizing my massage time. They even got my car keys when the tech finished with my car. I like that level of service!

I must admit that I went in skeptical to my massage appointment. I had purchased a coupon through Dealtificate that was 2 one-hour long massages for $ 39. So I thought what a steal, must purchase duhhh! But then I came to Unilocal, and no review was found :(However, I was blown away! & now I can be the first to review. D & S Holistic center is literally a hidden gem. From the outside, it just looks like a business center, the mysterious type that you can only see your reflection instead of the inside. I went in though and it looked like a doctor’s office. Nice welcoming green couch and some chairs and a square window to talk to the employees through on the other side. I caught the director/owner there. His name is Delfi Monteagudo and he specializes in chiropractic treatment, acupuncture, massage therapy and nutrition. So this is not your run of the mill spa. They actually know what they’re doing. He was so nice and gave me some pamphlets. They even hold seminars and workshops to teach on aromatherapy, Ayurveda, diets, herbs, etc. Mari, my massage therapists, came out after I had filled in some paperwork to make sure I had no alergies to oils and to find out what areas she needed to concentrate on. She took me into a room that was so nice. Dim lighting, comfortable massaging table with that little circle thing to put your head on. She gave me privacy to undress and once I was ready to go, she knocked and came in. She asked me through out the whole process, if the pressure was okay. She put on some background relaxing music, put some oil on her hands, and got to work. She massaged my neck, my back, my sides, then she went on to my legs and side buttox(hehe) and my feet. My favorite part was when she put these steaming hot towels on my back and pressed down and then rubbed off the oil. So good. The hole in the head pillow stand thingy(sorry for my lack on knowledge on this term lol) was probably a bad idea because I can guarantee I was drooling through my hour massage. Nevertheless, my hour was up and I got quickly dressed to rush to work. I’ve been in a trance ever since. So calm, and serene(which was the name of my room btw!). They have different tipes of massages ranging from Swedish Aromatherapy, Deep Muscular, Warm Stone, Reflexology, Thia, Shiatsu, etc. An hour message runs at about $ 100 and an hour and a half at $ 129. I recommend this place to everyone. The location and staff were so nice. I couldn’t have asked for a better deal, and I still have one more massage left haha. Don’t be jealous@!
