If you pay by credit card, make sure to check your receipt. They use an older register system and have to punch in the numbers on a separate machine to swipe a credit card. Shame on me for not checking, but my $ 6.80 meal was entered and swiped as $ 10.80 by the man at the register that was talking to someone on the phone the entire time he was helping me. No signature needed, so I did not notice until I was 30 minutes away. Fool me once…

I love coming to this Subway which is inside the Wal Mart in Dixon. I get lunch from here at least twice a week and everyone is super nice. They always have the footlong $ 5 special here, even when other Subways don’t. They totally load on the toppings so I always return.

I am assuming this is the Subway inside of Walmart and if so this one is the best! I had been going to the other one in the shopping center, which made thair sandwhiches very poorly (skimps on toppings) and they only pick one sanwhich each month to qualify for the $ 5 footlong special. THIS subway has $ 5 for every sandwhich all the time! What a better deal! I asked the guy making my sandwhich if I could have extra meat (not the double meat for $ 2.50) and he loaded up my sandwhich with a ton of turkey for only an extra $ 1. This is my go-​to Subway spot!
