Lunas Massage, Tanning & Boutique

I’ve come here about 5 days a week for the past few months to tan, and the service has been great every time I’ve come in. I know I can trust that the rooms and beds are clean, and the products are salon-​quality. You really can’t beat $ 30/​month unlimited tanning in a clean, quiet, beautiful boutique where the employees and owner treat you like family.

I love Lunas, Hillary gives an amazing massage, the selection of jewelry, purses, scarfs and sometimes clothing is perfect for gift shopping. Tanning beds are clean and rooms are relaxing. We are so lucky to have a place like this in Dixon.

I haven’t had a massage here yet, but it sounds like the bad review below is ATYPICAL for Luna’s. I’ve been going tanning here for the past few summers and really like the beds they have there. They have two regular beds and one bed for more advanced tanners. I’ve seen signs on the door to the massage room that say «SHH!» and requests that other customers keep their noise level to a minimum. They have a pretty good selection of tanning lotions and can make pretty good recommendations for customers. If you want to leave your own lotion and peepers there, they store them for you in a bag marked with your name on it and will retrieve it for you when you need it (in case you’re like me and you always forget your stuff!)
Everyone that works there has been very friendly, and they were quick to learn my family’s names. As for the shop, there are tons of cute, girly things all around to look at. They have everything from jewelry, to drink coasters, to purses and wallet, to umbrellas and rain boots, to scarves… you name it! They all live locally and they’ve been known to make great recommendations for other services in Dixon and surrounding area (nail salons, hair salons, etc. in my experience).
Contrary to the other poster, I don’t think it’s cluttered, but there is a ton of stuff to browse in the shop. Everything is organized in a way to show off the stuff for sale, broken up in sections according to color, and changed around pretty frequently. The beds have always been very clean, and inside the rooms they keep spray deodorants (they have both male and female types of deodorant), baby wipes to clean your hands after applying bronzing lotion, a radio you can adjust to listen to whatever music you like, a fan, towels, body stickers for tanning, etc. Of everywhere I’ve been tanning, this is the most down to earth place and is the most inexpensive I’ve tried (I think I purchased a one month tanning special for around $ 23 with tax). Really like the girls that work here and will DEFINITELY keep coming back.
